I am a new guy in the ranks. I have begun the process of getting the Lap Band and have found a lot of information and words of encouragement. Thanks for all you honesty.:thumbup:

I am in the process now with my doctor and insurance company. Luckily I work for an insurance company that figures it will have to pay less over the long run as far as health services if I get this done. I have been so busy I am just trying to get all the tests in. I am concerned about being able to build muscle post banding and feeling satisfied. I need to learn to eat for the right reasons. I need off all my meds. I will be diabetic if I don't lose weight and I do not want that! Great to see all the messages of the guys on here. Thanks for your inspiration.
