wow you look like a completely different person just beautiful !! if you would have to name the tools that helped you get to goal other than the band what would that be ? i should be getting banded sometime soon no set date yet but i want to prepare myself so that i can also succeed in this journey just like you have p.s love love love you big baby.. sorry about your horrific experience . but I'm glad you were able to find Dr. Lara .. my surgeon is Dr. Acosta and he seems nice so far . and the people at the office are too .. and i live in Albuquerque N.M so I'm relay glad they opened an office here for the fills although i enjoy going for a trip to EP i have family there . and I'm getting lab band i did notice that there was allot of ppl getting gastric bypass . but i chose on the lap band . they left it all up to me they never made any suggestions either way . and i get you on that approval thing . anything helps right !
well i don't have a set date yet i need to do some blood work Morrow and with that coming out good my Dr. wrights my clean bill of health letter and OKing me for surgery

Today i got my approval letter !! I'm so excited . i had already thrown in the towel thinking that this was just not going to happen . and i guess i was OK with that . truth be told i got discouraged and began going up that old familiar road again and started eating crap . so I'm up 6 lbs which I'm working on as of tomorrow .. i guess thing is to not give up on yourself like i did . between the minor set backs it Finlay got done . at this point i was not expecting it anymore .. lol crazy thing i was calling like 100 times before between the insurance and the surgeons office for the past two months and this month i just said to hell with it .. its not going to happen and left it at that .. but today i went to the mail and got a letter and read it and it said i was approved . lol i could not believe what i was reading and called the surgeons office to see if they had any word and to help me understand the letter . and they said to fax it that they have not gotten anything yet . so i told them i would . i wont hear from them till Monday though since it was so late already . then after calling them i called in insurance to help me understand at this point i still did not believe it and they said that yes the appeal was approved and that the surgery will be covered !!what a great day !!:blushing::thumbup::biggrin::thumbup::thumbup:

how much have you lost so far ? and well me I'm not banded yet just got approval . and now i need to get my Clarence and then we can set a date soo I'm impatiently waiting LOL =)

hey 50lbs is great ! if i could lose 50 ill be set .. and i think aroung 180 is just right . .. so are you doinging your poot camp threw a gym or something ?

lol and i wanted 5 .. yeah right =) but the ones i got are pretty cute:redface: well i do go to the gym i go to defined fitness but my husband and i were thinking of going to sports and wellness better atmosphere not that defined is bad . but a change would be good

welcome ! well my son is 6 years old and my girl just turned 2 on the 16th of August . both great kids . but they are still kids and do give mama hell at times LOL =) but its all worth it .. so what gym do you go to ?
