Glad to hear you are doing well. I remember how much I wanted something that would be yummy but not the same old soft sugar free foods that I had been eating. I had my husband go to a local restaraunt and buy me a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. I put in a blender and whipped it up until it looked like squash soup. It tasted SO good and went down without any problems. Other than that, I don't really remember what I ate. Hang in there as the worst is over. Are you going tomorrow night for the lapband meeting?? Hope to see you there. Jeri

Hey Jeri,
Well I survived!, banded on 2/18, I was sore and had a hard time waking up post op and getting up to walk. once drugs wore off I was better, I woke up with a fat lip don't know what happened in surgery but it will go down, now 5 days post op I am up and about, it hurts when I have a burp or cough, want to take in soft foods but don't dare, afraid of getting stuck, what type of food did you eat, have any good ideas?

Hey Jeri, you are right you do my mom's hair and her name is Marilyn. When I was looking at the Burbank group I saw you and showed your picture to her and said is that Jeri, and she said it was. Of course I remember you too. I'm glad that you have no regrets. I'm sure I'll see you sometime soon. Spaz
