    Hello and thank you

Oregondaisy, I noticed in purple you write Maintenance is a work in progress. I know without the tool being able to maintain weight loss is hard. Is it just as hard with your tool? So many things to think about. Just trying to understand. I will be sleeved March 31.

    Hello and thank you

MacMadame, Your ticker just makes me smile every time I see it. Tell me again when you had your surgery. Have not chatted on this site in several days. Update: Dr visit and liquid diet on March 18. Surgery on March 31. I am so ready to start Tooting my horn. I have lost weight in the past and packed it back on faster than I lost it. I understand that with the help of the sleeve (my tool) that I will be reminded to stop before things get out of hand. Now I can eat a lot before I am full. For those of us who have not been sleeved yet really do not understand the concept of eating ½ cup and feeling so full we push away from the table.

    Hello and thank you

BigDan, Way to go. You may have been inspired by others on this site but now many will be inspired by you. I will be sleeved on March 31. How did your pre op diet go? Has your dr told you how many cal per day you should be eating by now? I noticed on another site that less than 1000 and you would stop all weight loss. Do ya feel hungry? It is great to see a Nurse has chosen the sleeve. That makes me feel a bit more confident. Keep up the Good Work.

    Hello from Scotland.

Hi curvy, I am in Louisiana,USA. Getting ready to be sleeved in late March. ( I can not wait!!!) I have rather low BMI also. My dr believes this is best for me. Make sure you get all your information. I understand the dr should have preformed at least 300 of these prior to you is best. Also, know and understand the size bougie that he will be using on you. Some believe this in combination with how tight the stomach is pulled will make surgery successful. Seventy pounds was great. Was that goal. With the sleeve, I have heard weight loss may be a little faster than the band. Good Luck. PS My hubby worked off the coast of Scotland in the North Sea back '88. He was working in the oilfield. He was there when the big rig went down. We lost some friends that day. I know many lives were changed that day in Scotland. Our hearts and prayers have always been with your country. pf337

Thanks for your help. Yes, I have been still been looking around for more information. My husband and I read over more info last night. I keep leaning sleeve but did not say this to my husband. I ask what he thought and it was sleeve. I get online this morning (Friday Feb27) and get great feedback from you. By the way, it is my understanding that the surgery for the band and the sleeve are the same with this dr. It will run about $14,000. Thanks for all your help..It was great to have feedback. I wondered (being a first time blogger) if anyone would respond...Thanks again
