Koala I didn't go to Fisher ...... I went to Mexico to DR Joya..... the 3000 surcharge Dr Fisher charges may not be legal and I am looking into that.......I live in Las Vegas and I have have spoke to people where he was nasty in his tone about Mexican docs.....he would be the last person to give me a fill........but I must say he is a good doc .........

wow bummer I am so sorry,,,,,,,if he did it on Sept 6th 3 weeks later would be your vegas trip.......and you should be back on real food by then I am sure you will feel good...... If it is Dr. Joya he has a specific plan.....Gerald his man who handles this stuff would have given you the outline way before a week to go............If it is someone other than DR Joya they would give you their instructions....each Dr. has different pre op instructions....Some .... not all .......would tell you to go on a 2 week liquid diet...you need to ask your specific dr

I should have paid more attention when my son took Spanish last year.....well due to his grade he gets to repeat it........It would be fantastic language to know.....On the West coast you would have ample time to use it

Dody you were all over the girls eating dinner the night before their bands in Mexico a couple weeks ago......so I can't believe you wouldn't follow your American doctors orders since you claimed the hospital was one of the best in the USA....come on girl you yourself have enough posts under your band to know the rules....

I used Dr. Joya also ..... love him......Pelo I tried to find that info when I was researching and they were posts from 2003!!!!! And no one had the real info....I went to Joya and would go again in a hot minute he has a great team and works out of a clean and real hospital not a clinic..........I went because my primary care had gone to him we have the same insurance that does not cover lap band.........and she went with me it was great all the way

I joined the PB club today also...I was eating raw almonds maybe they were too dry I got that golfball feeling .....no pain...... so I drank water and next thing I knew it just all came up with no effort and I now know what slime is.......I have never had a fill yet so when I get one I think I may not need much.........thank goodness I had a towel in my hand ( I do hair) It would have been more embarassing

Hey Nevada I hear great things about Dr Ortiz I went to Mexico myself......my insurance would not cover lap-band...you will be fine....we should get our own little Las Vegas support group together and meet once a month to support eachother
