After my third child was born in 2004 I became diabetic. I was put on the pill to try and maintain it. My doctor had suggested the surgery but I declined. I try to maintain with the pill but in November of 2008 I was the pill and insulin. That was the last straw for me. So I started my procedures for the lapband.
