    pain in left side?

Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. It seems as if it is right underneath my left ribs. Hurts often after completing a meal. Told my surgeon about it two weeks out of the procedure, sent me for an xray to ensure band placement. Everything was ok with my band, but still continue to have that nagging pain. But I did have mine BEFORE the lap band procedure and have told every Dr who will listen and still no resolve and the pain goes on:cursing:
  5. I had my procedure on Feb. 2nd. I look forward to having you as a role model for me throughout my journey. I hope this is ok. When did you start eating the 1/4 cup of food, after you started having fills? I find myself eating a small breakfast and forced to eat lunch and dinner because I am still full from the breakfast. I have had no fills yet. I am planning to join a new gym opening near my work, will run up there on my lunch and days off. Thanks for getting back with me and I look forward to chatting often, as I really do not have anyone to "guide" me through this.

  6. Hello Hunters Mom,

Thank you for the nice comments.I tried to follow all my doctors advice. I walk 30 minutes a day, drank 2 protein drinks per day (1 now), Ate only 1/4 cup of food at a setting, which makes me feel full and take my vitamins and calcium. I am thrilled to have myself back again. I congratulate you for doing this for your self! It is not always easy, but it is so worth it ! This will be a wonderful journey for you! Just keep smiling and know this time you will win the battle! Please stay in touch! I would love knowing how you are doing along the way. When is your surgery planned?

  7. I saw your photos. You look GREAT!!!! What did you do? How many calories did you eat a day?exercise? What was your routine? I'm two weeks out and need your secrets!! Thanks

    Beginning My Journey

Oh, so you were banded only a little bit brfore myself. I was banded on Feb 2, 2009. I am so very anxious to get moving to my potential. How many calories are you eating daily? I heard if you eat to little you will not lose. I think I may be doing that now.

    Made it Through!!!!!

 Yes, I made it through the first two weeks. I was banded on Feb. 2nd. First week was not gooooood, to say the least. Since this time, everything is well. Weight is not falling off quick enough to suit me, but understand patience is the key. Still not exercising to my potential, but hope to real soon. Weighed 246 before post op. After post and pre op diets, weight is down to 228.
