i agree you need to a least make an appearance. its the right thing to do. and it might just make you feel better. getting up and moving is the only thing thats ever helped my cramps. and even if it dosent help the cramps you wont have to add guilt for not going to the rest of your pre surgery worries. and depending how you feel post-op it may be the last time you get out and socialize for a few weeks. i hope you feel better. and good luck and congratulations on your surgery tomorrow. and 10lbs in 10 days is a major accomplishment. your doc should be very pleased:thumbup:

I don't use the card when I go out. Most of my friends and family know about my surgery. But I'm a very private person when it comes to people I dont know. I also don't know if I think it's really fair. I now eat about the same amount as one of my girlfriends who is really thin. She can't ask to eat off the kids menu because she dosent eat a lot, so I don't necessarily think it's fair for me to be able to when we eat the same amount. I just most of my meal home and have a nice lunch for work the next day.But I have used a trick that she taught me, there are some places like applebees that will let you order a half size portion of something at a reduced reduced. I like doing this when I get things like salads that don't keep well.

catherine, happy to aee you doing so well. my b-day is tomorrow and im happy to report that ive not only met my goal of 175 but have exceeded it and im down to 174. this alos takes me out of the obese category and makes me merely overweight, (lol) but this is the smallest ive been in 10 years so im very excited. i fel great. i had a fill on jine 1s and ireally think im at my sweet spot. ive got a fill scheduled next week and unless i get a dramatic change in restriction im probably gonna cancel it. ladies we seem to all be trying really hard. so give yourself a reward.( non food of course) i went out and bought myself a really sexy dress to wear out on my b-bay. i cant wait

definitely fat and rich. i grew in a family of 8 kids so money was always tight and as a single mom of 3 i still live on a tight budget. itd be nice not to have to worry abiut things, not to have an unexpected car repair be a major hardship. or to be able to take my kids on a vacation without having to save forever first. fat and rich hands down.

the crystal light packets are a great idea. Walmart even sells a cranberry flavored version. I'm definitely gonna have to try that one.

also stress the health benefits to him. Make it clear that you aren't doing this just out of vanity or that you want attention from others. That it's something you're doing out of love for him and more importantly love for yourself.That you're still gonna be the sexy confident women that hes in love with,they'red just gonna be a bit less of you. He may not like it but if he really loves you he's gonna come around.

I'm 5'4, 174 and in a size 12. Some of them are on the lose side already. my next purchases are gonna be 10's. Ahbo8 if you're 5'6 175 is probably gonna be a 10 on you. Good luck you will be in a 12 or a 10 before you know it.

I tried the pink lemonade flavor a few months ago. And I have to say I did not care for them at all. They had a very unpleasant aftertaste. Maybe you might find a flavor you like better but I disliked the kind I tried so much that I never bothered with trying any others.

sounds like a great idea. I keep thinking I'd like to start jogging. I've been doing the eliptical but now that I've got some of this weight off I'd like to try it. It also helps me get to another one of my long term goals. My boyfriend is I'm the millitary and in great shape. He runs everday, even when were on vacation. ( nauseating isn't it, LOL) I really wanna be able to run with him but I wanna build up some stamina before I try to run with him. This challenge just might be the right motivation I need to get started.

im covered under BCBS of new jersey.from what ive looked into no insurance covers a breast reduction or a tummy tuck. the breast reduction maybe if you are having back problems related to the weight of your breasts. as far as the tummy tuck ive never net anyone that didnt have to pay out of pocket for theres. i think some insurances may pay for removal of the excess skin on your stomach, again if you are having persistent or infested sores in the folds of the skin or other complications related to excess skin. but its only for the skin removal part not the actual tightening of the stomach muscles. all insurances are different so id check to see what yours will or wont cover. good luck

i was just gonna say orthostatic hypotension as well but i see restless monkey beat me to the punch. i had some issues when i was younger with it. the 1 caution id like to add is be careful getting in and out of the tub or shower until you get this resolved. i got really dizzy getting out of the tub a few times and almost cracked my head open. i hope everything works out!
