girl you go, this might be one of the best thing that can happen to you.besides being able to buy new clothes.I was banded on the 13th of april 09 and so far i have lost a total of 18lbs. I was told that ,that is about normal.so do like me try and not get on the scale and i went into my closet and tried on a pair that i knew i couldnt fit but when i was smaller looked dam HOT in and i just try them on the 13th of every month.So far just was able to do this once but it beat getting on the scale and like you i only told my boyfriend and 1 of my two children. My son thinks i'm prefect as i am. But when it comes down to it , it's how u feel about you. 200lb wking on 150lb -

dont be bumded.... Here a suggestion to you. I was banded on the 13th april 09. I tried to go thur my ins and becas i was a low BMI. But at the same time i had high blood pressure, and sleep problems all of which i was taking meds 4, but till was denided.Even if my ins were 2 accept me my out of pocket was going to be $11,000. I researched it over the net and founded a Dr.Joya in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta.He was great , the hospital was very clean and actually better the US hospital that my sisiter went 2 for her band. Private rm and your own nurse.I was up and walking without help in about 3 hours.I went under at 11:30 and i was talking to my husband at 12:52 pm. I had very little pain and my scar is very mininum.All of this for less then i would have paid via my INS.THE TOTAL PRICE WAS $7000.00.I would do it again in a heart beat.after seeing my recovery i have two more friends that are going in the next month.Think about it.He's great.

prinecc_n_thep. hey are you the same person that got banded? if so how is that going. and yes dont worry about your difference in your beast from here they look great. I was banded in Puerto Vallarta by Dr.Joya. I was a total of 250 lbs my highest but when i came to Dr.Joya i was at 200LB. my bmi was 33. But because i was on meds for my sleeping and also high blood pressure ,which all came from not being able to lose these last 50lbs they accepted me. I paid $7000.00 for all. and had my own room all was very nice. I was up and walking fast about 3 hours after my surgery. My scars are very sm. loving that.and i didnt have to take any of the pain meds that was giving to me by the hospital. I was banded on 13th of april 09. Take care.
