  3. did u have a problem with shoulder and chest gas pain if so how long did it las.t..thanx for the encouragement i was banded the 23rd of feb so looking forward to feeling 100%...have u had a fill yet
  4. u are one day after me...today(monday) has been a week...u are the first person to share in the chest pain with me it is a bit better today but ifeel tight under my diaphram when i breathe in...the only relief i get is if i lay on my left side...the shoulder pain disappears also which is painful...and i wish that i could burb to release some of that upper gas..i want to eat something cause this liquid diet is nauseating...i hate the taste of artificial sweeteners mashed potatoes are good though...hang in there almost impossible to get all requirements in....

  6. hi pammy...good luck surgery is not that bad...i am 6 days post and getting better each day....im glad that it is over and now the life changes have to begin...i am following what i am supposed to do...alittle hard since i hate the taste of artificial sweeteners (and thats in all the liquids im having)looking forward to real food and first fill...keep in touch nice to have "buddy" support

  7. hi evryone..i was banded the 23rd and still having gas pain ...i have to be on liquid diet until march 9th and that seems pretty hard...hate the taste of all that artificial sweetener...i have not had a problem with drinking or yogurts but just getting sick of it ..i move to stage 3 and even though i cant wait to taste real food i am following the rules. it is important for the healing process...doesnt mean that i couldnt eat food...but i wont worked too hard for this whole procedure...i think we just have to get through until our fills then it will be easier

    good luck to u..i was banded on feb 23rd and i guess i am a slower"bouncer back" type of person...my biggest problem is the gas ...painful but tolerable...incisions are no big deal.....i was so scared you have no idea...everything will go well...i stayed overnight but was up walking same day of surgery...i am down 10 lbs ..i am following food stages exactly need to heal very important

  11. hi i also have shoulder pain...gasX strips that melt on ur tongue have been helping..my incision sites are very sore(hard to get in and out of bed, or up from chair)..get a tightening in my chest like i want to burp up air but it wont come out..telling everyone to ask me how i feel in a week...right now (had surgery on mon the 23rd) abit achy

  13. i am on clear liqids today (sunday) going in tomorrow the 23rd and nervous.. i have not had to be on a special pre-op diet (just the day before)
  14. i hope i agree...not big on the IV but if thats the worst of it all....ok
