Keller got alot of thunder, and about 15mins of rain. i was surprised to see that the high for the next 4 days is only 94!
  4. My doctor says that he would rather we sip water during our meals than have us dip or coat our food in mayo, dressing etc. But the key he said is to sip only.

Black Widow and eggs in my garage

Im all for the live and let live mentality, but not when it involves somehting that could seriously injure me, and possibly kill my dogs. Im afraid to say those spiders would have had a very short life once I saw them. Sorry for your experience, and I hope that they leave your house.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but whats your expected race? Im an avid adventure racer, from the past, and im married to a big time triathlete. Im going to all of her races and im totally hooked again. My first "race" is the disney 1/2 Marathon in January, and hoping to do up to Olympic tri's next year.

Take it easy on that carbon bike for a little while. They are not really keen on people our size on them. Watch out for potholes, or put it on your trainer for a bit.

    Hypochondriac alert

Just remember that there are far far more positive experiences than negative. You will typically only hear from the Negative Nellies anytime there is any complications. Just approach it with the expectation that for about 4 days post op you will feel a little uncomfortable. I never hurt at all. I bet if you ask, most people would say there was very little if any gas pain, and very few actually took their prescription pain meds. I took liquid tylenol for 3 days, and that was probably one day too many. after the 4th day, I have to keep reminding myself what I cannot do. having my wife do the heavy lifting is tough, and not getting in the pool for 10 days post op was hard down here in Tx.
  11. I used united healthcare. From my first seminar to surgery was 6 weeks. But thats deceptive. I actually started getting the testing done about 3.5 weeks before surgery. so actually the wait was really only about 4 weeks total. I got aproval for the procedure in a few days, which I understand is unusually fast.

    Need Cruise Advice!

we have had good luck with taking cabs to most ports. I don't recall how far the Munoz airport is from the cruise terminal. we stayed overnight at the inter continental right on the beach. we watched the planes land, so it couldn't have been too far. but the cab from the hotel to the pier was very quick. you don't need to pay attention to the time listed as boarding time. we will typically go 2 hrs before the published time. seldom ever are there more than a few people there. be prepared to wait several hours for your bags. prepare your carry on from the plane with the clothes/bathing suit you will want when you get on the ship. the advice about the drink cards, and to beware the cost of the alcohol is right on. make sure to do that. And the avice to do and see everything, and to register for your excursions, if you have any opportunity is also right on.

    Need Cruise Advice!

My wife and i are avid cruisers, and as a matter of afact we are going on a cruise in Feb to the same ports. The best advice for cruising in general is to tip your cabin steward the first day. They will work very hard for you for the rest of the cruise. prepay the tips when you get on board. its very convenient. Don't worry about money exchange, every where the ships go they happily take cash. Just be sure to barter everywhere. Formal nights are very fun. be prepared for several backdrops and set up shots each formal night. Go to cruisecritic.com you'll find lots of reviews on the ports, and lots of cruising advice in general about Monte, I worked for a portrait photographer for several years that was a close personal friend of Montes. i had the pleasure to meet him several times. My college degree is in photography. Monte is an unbelieveable old school phototgrapher. have a ball!
