Hi Debbie, thanks for yours words of encouragement, at the moment because I have a long way to go to get to my target weight Im finding it hard and feel very hungry, here we too (in UK) we are instructed to only have soft food first 2 weeks and 1st band saline fill in 6-8 weeks after op. I am dreading it as I know it will be even harder as will only be on a liquid diet after fill! I wish you all the best and I know you will look great in time for Summer! Take care, Elizabeth x

Hi elizabeth, ty for your nice comment on my blog, I hope you are feeling a little better, stick with it its so worth it & ignore anyone on here telling you its ok to cheat or anything.. its not, thats why weve had the band done... I have followed everything my doc is telling me, it might be 6 weeks before i have my first fill, some have it 2 weeks after the op, but over here you have to be on a liquid diet for 4 weeks (soups & milk) then a soft food diet for 2 weeks then normal foods for 2 weeks then a fill... i am so happy with myself as i never in my wildest dreams thought i would lose as much as i have in just over 6 weeks..I know it will slow down at some stage i will up my fitness & look forward to being slimmer for summer
