Jack, I love your sense of humor.

Welcome to LBT!! I'm new myself although my wife had the surgery this past May. My insurance does pay for gastric bypass, but I'm still researching if they will approve the band (we have different ins since my DW was banded). This is a great place to start your journey. Ask lots of questions and do lots of research. I wish you the very best!!

We were so happy to see Kasey win again. My DW drools over him and those eyes. Proud of Jr too. I think he's finally found the rhythm he needs for the chase. As far as Smoke is concerned, I think Zippy is letting him down. This is 2 wks in a row he hasn't given Smoke a decent car to work with. He has really struggled. My MIL says the same thing about Gordon. At least the crew let him down. Can't believe they made a mistake of a loose lug nut. Unacceptable. That guy should be replaced. Gordon thanked his crew for a good job, but that was just suck-up b/c they let him down for sure. Gordon was on target to win that race. Things should heat up next week in Richmond. Don't you all love night races? They're a favorite at our home. Just noticed that Kasey won this race last year. GO SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please pray for my in-laws as they are flying back from VA today (Tues). They have to catch a connecting flight in Newark, NJ to fly on into Columbus. I didn't realize until recently that all the terrorists started their journey at the Newark airport. They are in God's hands, but please keep them in your prayers if you think of it today. Thank you.

Thank you Leatha. I'm sure this will help a lot of people. My wife wants to be you when she grows up. :welldoneclap: This is excellent information. Very interesting about Dr. Fox. Sounds reasonable to me.

Good luck Myra. Hope the weight peels right off.

I used to be a big Bengals fan many years ago. I guess they will always have a small piece of my heart because it takes me back to when I was younger. I did like Sam Wyche. He was a good coach. I'm looking forward to next week to watch Peyton vs. Eli. My money is going on the Colts. -
I changed jobs shortly after my wife had her surgery so we now have a different insurance company...BC/BS of Alabama. My wife tells me there have been a lot of horror stories on here about BC/BS. Does anyone have any info advice on getting approved with them? My boss had gastric bypass with them and I plan to talk with him more tomorrow about this.

Since you all have heard so much about me, I decided I would join in on the fun.
-
Shhhh...not too loud...I don't want her to hear you. I'm a BOLL WEEVIL myself. Really, I had to drug my wife to get her to marry me. :welldoneclap:

I have to finally admit, I've always been a Tom Landry fan. Did you know he could recite very large passages from the Bible? He was definitely a man's man. There will never be another like him. -
Cheri, glad you are able to find your package useful. My wife says you are more than welcome! So when will we be having the Halloween exchange? I could get used to getting a gift in the mail. I'm sure my wife would enjoy shopping for me.

We are thinking our next dog/puppy may be a boxer. Are there any boxer fans out there? My wife tells me there is a pet pic thread out there somewhere. Will try to find it. We are huge animal lovers.

USA should take a page out of Australia's handbook!

This is truly sad. My boys really enjoy watching his shows on Sat. Crikey! He will be missed. -
My grandma used to have one of those aluminum trees. It brings back memories. I can't believe they are in demand on E-Bay. Wow. Kat, sounds like the Lord was answering prayers. You were meant to purchase that bag. Good luck with your sale Ericsmom.

Mrs Christy, you are too funny. OK, here's my list: Have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Have 2 Masters of Science in Management degrees, one with a specialty in Business Management and the other with a speciality in Project Management Currently working on a 3rd Executive MBA degree Thinking about going for a PhD after this! My BIL used to be a professional race car driver in the NHRA series. Played cards with John Force, star of A&E's Driving Force & NHRA Champion, during a rain delay in Houston, TX Flew First Class once only to have my best buddy fart and blame it on me. It was a bad one too. Have a thing for red-heads. Can't get my wife to go red. I guess I like blondes more. :biggrin1:

Some of us (especially us Southerners) have been pretty skeptical of horoscopes through the years, and in fact it has become pretty obvious that our present astrological signs have served their purpose and that we should get rid of them. When out driving around one can see bulls, and once in a great while I suppose, even see a ram. Up the street there may be some twins. The rest of these things are just too obscure. You only see crabs on vacation. There are no lions, or scorpions, not many archers and no water bearers. Virgins? The neighborhood's not crawling with them either, needless to say. SO... what we need here is some relevance. We need SOUTHERN things we can recognize up there in the night sky. OKRA - Dec 22 - Jan 20 Although you appear crude, you are actually very slick on the inside. Okra have tremendous influence. An older Okra can look back over his life and see the seeds of his influence everywhere. Stay away from Moon Pies. CHITLIN - Jan 21 - Feb 19 Chitlins often come from humble backgrounds. Many times they're uncomfortable talking about just where they came from. A chitlin, however, can make something of himself if he's motivated and has plenty of seasoning. When it comes to dealing with Chitlins, be very careful. Chitlins can burn and then erupt like Vesuvius, and this can make for a really terrible mess. Chitlins are best with Catfish and Okra. Remember that when marriage time rolls around. BOLL WEEVIL - Feb 20 - Mar 20 You have an overwhelming curiosity. You're unsatisfied with the surface of things, and you feel the need to bore deep into the interior of everything. Needless to say, you are very intense and driven as if you had some inner hunger. Nobody in their right mind is going to marry you, so don't worry about it. MOON PIE - Mar 21 - April 20 You're the type that spends a lot of time on the front porch. It's a cinch to recognize the physical appearance of Moon Pies. Big and round are the key words here. You should marry anybody who you can get remotely interested in the idea. It's not going to be easy. This might be the year to think about aerobics. Maybe not. POSSUM - APR 21 - May 21 When confronted with life's difficulties, possums have a marked tendency to withdraw and develop a don't-bother-me-about-it attitude. Sometimes you become so withdrawn, people actually think you're dead. This strategy is probably not psychologically healthy, but seems to work for you. One day, however, it won't work and you may find your problems actually running you over. CRAWFISH - May 22 - June 21 Crawfish is a water sign. If you work in an office, you're always hanging around the water cooler. Crawfish prefer the beach to the mountains, the pool to the golf course, the bathtub to the living room. You tend to be not particularly attractive physically, but you have very, very good heads. COLLARDS - June 22 - July 23 Collards have a genius for communication. They love to get in the "melting pot" of life and share their essence with the essence of those around them. Collards make good social workers, psychologists, and baseball managers. As far as your personal life goes, if you are Collards, stay away from Moon Pies. It just won't work. Save yourself a lot of heartache. CATFISH - July 24 - Aug 23 Catfish are traditionalists in matters of the heart, although one's whiskers may cause problems for loved ones. You catfish are never easy people to understand. You prefer the muddy bottoms to the clear surface of life. Above all else, Catfish should stay away from Moon Pies. GRITS - Aug 24 - Sept 23 Your highest aim is to be with others like yourself. You like to huddle together with a big crowd of other Grits. You love to travel though, so maybe you should think about joining a club. Where do you like to go? Anywhere they have cheese or gravy or bacon or butter or eggs. If you can go somewhere where they have all these things, that serves you well. BOILED PEANUTS - Sept 24 - Oct 23 You have a passionate desire to help your fellow man. Unfortunately, those who know you best - your friends and loved ones - may find that your personality is much too salty, and their criticism will probably affect you deeply because you are really much softer than you appear. You should go right ahead and marry anybody you want to because in a certain way, yours is a charmed life. On the road of life, you can be sure that people will always pull over and stop for you. BUTTER BEAN - October 24 - Nov 22 Always invite a Butter Bean because Butter Beans get along well with everybody. You, as a Butter Bean, should be proud. You've grown on the vine of life and you feel at home no matter what the setting. You can sit next to anybody. However, you too, shouldn't have anything to do with Moon Pies. ARMADILLO - Nov 23 - Dec 21 You have a tendency to develop a tough exterior, but you are actually quite gentle. A good evening for you? Old friends, a fire, some roots, fruit, worms and insects. You are a throwback. You're not concerned with today's fashions and trends. You're not concerned with anything about today. You're really almost prehistoric in your interests and behavior patterns. You probably want to marry another Armadillo, but Possum is another somewhat kinky, mating possibility.

It's just not fair that you guys have made so much $$ from garage sale buys. I'm going to send my DW to more garage sales. She went yesterday and only bought a couple of toys for the boys. Kim, what kind of books do you buy to sell on E-Bay?
-
Hi princess. My wife wanted me to ask if the same thing happened to you last time? She thought you were stiffed last exchange as well. People should be banned from future exchanges if they drop out, especially if they already received their gift and then refuse to send one out. I guess that is not really an issue though in this case. Drews is a good person!

Best of luck Nana. You are doing a great thing. Dogs are pack animals and like vines said, it's good for them to have a job to do. It's important for them to know their place in your pack. We had a German Shepherd that lived 14 yrs and my wife, 3Loves, had a Poodle that lived 17.5 yrs. Some of it depends on their environment and family history of health problems. If the dobie was well taken care of and was a purebred, chances are you have many years left to love and enjoy your new baby. In addition to the site mentioned, here's some you may want to check out. http://www.akc.org http://www.infodog.com/newtodogs.htm http://www.petrix.com/dognames/ Wish you the best and can't wait to see pictures.

My wife, 3Loves, asked me to inform you that she got her gift and she was thrilled!! Special thanks to those_eyes2004. I will post a pic when I get a chance. Here is a list of what she got: A Longhorn Pez candy dispenser with candy. Our boys loved it. Don't tell nursekathy2u. I've been teasing her about the game next week with OSU and the Longhorns. Dale Earnhardt key chain Beautiful postcard of Houston at night Large bath gift set including all kinds of girly stuff to use in the tub/shower with body wash and stuff. Book called Mom-Speak. Includes sayings we heard many times growing and are now saying to our kids. Book called The Book of Small Pleasures. Includes lots of inspirational stuff. HUGE book called NASCAR A Celebration. I may have to steal this one from her. :guess She plans on taking a book or two and hanging out at the local coffee shop. Imagine the peace with no kids. THANK YOU AGAIN those_eyes2004. Your thoughtfulness was very much appreciated! You went overboard for sure. P.S. Her gift was delivered to Cheri on 8-25-06. Where are you Cheri? Did you get your package?

Praise God for the fact that you can never out give Him.

Congratulations to DeAnn and others. Kasey won the Bush race tonight. :clap2: Looks like Tony had a rough qualifying run and is starting 22nd. It's a late race since it's in CA. Should be interesting with all the guys so close in points. I bet we may see here what Bristol should have been last week.

Trish, this is 3Loves hubby and we would like you to know that we will lift you in prayer asking the Lord for your quick recovery. Take baby steps and follow your doc's advice. God Bless.

Those championship bound Ohio State Buckeyes really kicked some butt today. Now we are off the to the same thing to those Longhorns. You only beat us by 3 points last year. Your going down this year for sure. GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
