I was banded yesterday (MArch 10th) by Dr. Jayaseelan in Plano, Texas. I was most scared of the IV - bad experience once. The nurse was GREAT. Deadened the area for me first -no pain! I have to say I am a bit surprised how much I hurt last night and today. Dr. Jay told my husband I could probably do a lot of my normal routine today....I think perhaps he has never actually had surgery himself! Shuffling around my house is about all I feel like I can do right now. Maybe I'm just a wimp!:mad2: Hope everyone else is doing well!

Sorry that I have been so slow to check back here. I have not felt up for sitting at the computer before today. I want to say thank you SO much for those who took the time to let me know I am not the only one struggling. I was feeling pretty depressed. But I am much more upbeat today and seemed to a turned a corner...not recovered yet, but maybe not regretting it anymore! For those who were frightened or discouraged by my post, I am sorry! I had some regret the first night home from the hospital with my first child too...but that didn't last!!!:-) I just don't care much for pain, or nausea....I DO believe it will be worth it in the end! I am sorry if my "venting" frightened anyone! Thanks to everyone for such support! I hope you are all doing very well! Blessings Robin :-)
