My dr said because disrupt your diaphragm??? anyway hope your doing better, I can't wait for some soft foods, its till just soups (creamed if I want) and liquids for me until next week.

    Bowel movements---gross I know!

Me too, banded on 5/20, took laxative and feel so much better. I am used to taking them though, chronic constipation has always been a prob for me.
  5. I was banded on 5/20 and have lost about 6 pounds already, eager to loose more.

    I want to lick things...

Hi, I am only 48 hrs post op, I have much more pain than I anticipated, but I have absolutely no appetite. I can hardly get down a glass of water, I'm afraid my appetite will return with a vengence, any suggestions. I am trying to drink the isopure protein drinks, but yuck.....
  8. Hi Lynn, I'm your age and will hopefully have the surg in the next few months. 41 pounds is great!! How has it changed the way you view food, are you always hungry?
  9. Hi my name is Lori and I live in northern NJ, my weight has been an issue for years, finally I decided to really do something about it. I had a consultation with a recommended surgeon, it went well, had my blood work done and now I need to schulde with Psch and Nutrionist. How long is it until surgery? I'd love to be done by Spring.....too ambitious???
