Several of the posts above yours had NOTHING to do with this topic yet you once again brought it up. If you have support then just give it and ignore everything else and don't even visit the controversial threads. How does that help? Don't fall into the same trap some others did.

I had a fill yesterday (second one). I have a strange "Sensation" (for lack of a better word) sort of in the back of my throat (after I eat) almost like a small pill is stuck there. Yet, nothing is actually stuck in the back of my throat. It isn't painful and not even that discomforting exactly. But I know it is "there". Could this be the feeling of restriciton? (cause I don't know!). And/or could it be my new full feeling signal? It makes me not want to eat any more food and it's not so much that I feel full (though I also don't feel hungry)...more that it feels sort of icky"ish" and so I don't want to continue to eat and so I stop. Has anyone had that? Is this restriction or something entirely different? Its so hard to get a handle on all of this!

Okay I've read all about PBs etc and know what to expect. What I haven't quite figured out from my readings is: when you PB, does it happen IMMEDIATELY after you swallow a piece of food or can you swallow and then it happens like 5 mins (or whatever) later? Clarification please!!!

Getting SICK & TIRED of reading crap over and over and all the bickering and so creating another user ID just to come in and ask the odd question and/or do the odd search about the LAPBAND; not to get into any arguments or be a part of the nastiness. How's that for ya? As if anyone has to explain themselves to you.

I think it is a good thing that you are the first to be interviewed and I'm sure they did that on purpose. Usually the stronger candidates are first so that they can "compare" the others to the "baseline" (you!). I don't have a lot of info about the salary negotiation but also...don't forget that at the time you discuss salary, you can also negotiate other terms of the contract (ie. vacation time etc). Sometimes holiday periods are more important than salary (depending on your priorities and what you want. Also, hours can be negotiable etc. Don't forget about those "little things". ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I thought they had about 15 epsiodes (ie. 3 more for me to watch) and then that was it. Normally they don't have as many as 15 episodes a season but apparently they made extra. Are these the 8 you are referrng to? (although I was under the impression they would all be shown this season; not separated out). I'm confused!! (hopefully happily so). Where did you get this info???

Hi I was just wondering how many of you gained weight before your first fill. I was banded in mid Apr and lost consistently until I started solids (and I was still very careful in what I ate AND have been exercising). I've noticed that I've gained 3-4 lbs in the last week!!!!! WTF!!!! I go for my first fill next week. I've heard this can happen but I'm just curious as to how many folks it has happened to. I'm trying not to beat myself up or get discourgaged by it but it is difficult!!

can't help but comment that Dody keeps saying in her posts that she is "done with it" and will argue no more etc ...yada yada yada but yet STILL the same thing is repeated over and over. When are people going to learn to just let it go??? Oh wait, that's right, some need to have the last word.
