I am at 5cc, had trouble at 6cc, but now wishing I had toughed it out. I am down 2.5 pounds this week. My hair is thinning at an alarming rate. I am on my vitimans and drinking two protien shakes a day, it can stop any day now. Keep up the good work everyone! We are on the right course!

Thank you all! I called this morning and they gave me the option of coming in and removing all the fuild and then refill on Wednesday. I don't want all my fuild taken out,I want to go back to 4cc. I asked the nurse if I was overreacting. Was/is this normal? She said yes, after asking many questions, but still offered for me to come in. Anyways I decided to wait it out after jillrenee15 post. I am already feeling better. haven't tried to sallow a pill yet. Thinking I will try that tomorrow. Thanks again everyone!

Thanks! They had me drink a few sips, but after the past two days, I think I will always stick with your approach of a full glass of water!

I had my second fill yesterday. I rec'd an additional 2cc to total 6cc. I felt it right away, hurt to drink water. BUt I thought it was because it ws just adjusted, so I elected to "tough it out" Still hurt to drink water and after only 2 sips felt like it was coming back up. So, I called the doc and he got me right in, he was paged from the VA hospital. He took out 1cc, to leave me at 5cc. I am still having pain drinking. I have gotten way more down today compared to yesterday, but I can barely sallow a pill, or sallow a drink of water. Do I call again tomorrow? Do I wait it out until Monday? I can't even think about eating mushy of soft solids. Any advise? :thumbup:

I was banded on April 10th, down 26 pounds. I was told today by me hairdresser that my hair is falling out at an alarming rate. She suggested I see my doctor about my thyroid, but I know it is the lapband. ANyone dealt with this? How did you stop it? Any suggestions on Vitamins? I would appreicate any and all input. This was the issue I feared the most with the procedure. :confused: Thanks!

Down 1 pound to 196, but my hairdresser just told me my hair is falling out at an alarming rate. She suggested I get my thyroid check. I know it is from the lapband band and the weight loss. AAAAGGGGGHHHHH :confused: Anyone have suggestion on vitmans?

I do not regret anything. Right after surgery, before I even left the hospital, I had a couple of WHAT DID I JUST DO moments. That only last the first two days. I would do it again in a heart beat! I am down 25 pounds in 7 weeks.

My Doctor wants me to wait 5-6 weeks before my second fill. I got 4cc on my first fill and could really tell a difference. Good luck!

Congrats! I was banded April 10th and had my first fill May 20th. I am very happy so far. Again Congrats!!!!
