Ohhh the wonders of technology and photo manipulation...All the models do it... I wanted to see just what could be done so I had a few photos manipulated to make me look a bit slimmer so that I can put them on my fridge door as a constant reminder of what I am aspiring too...I thought you guys might be interested in the results!!!!

I actually found them through elance.com http://www.elance.com/c/fp/main/viewprofile.pl?crypted=JTI2dmlld19wZXJzb24lM0RnaWZ0c3RyaSUyNnR5cGUlM0RzZWxsZXI= I posted a project on http://www.elance.com ...and they responded. They were very cheap i think it cost me about 50us for 7 photo's...I think they are singapore based. Becky

I started walking within 24hours of surgery...I found it was the best thing to ward of those darn gas shoulder pains...and it meant i could get some deep breaths to practice my breathing...needless to say i didnt go far but it helped. -

Cold Feet... Getting banded 12/14/06
flabuless replied to Cherie Berry's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
hi there cherie berry Welcome to LBT you have come to the right place and are amongst friends...We have all experienced the same feelings you are having right now...it takes courage to do what you are planning to do but for the hope of a better future. So hat off to you you have come along way already...for me...I don't regret my lapband for a moment despite the challenges/lifestyle change/disappointments it is the best thing I have ever done for myself...Hopefully it will be the same for you. Best wishes. Keep us posted. becky -
sweetnevaeh Welcome...first of all we have all had those concerns pre surgery so your in good company...I also have two children and i was concerned at the risks of surgery and whether I would be the 'unlucky' one and leave my two children motherless. But for me the hope of a better life, better existance, and longer lifetime outweighed the concerns that I had...i took the plunge and I am happier than I have been in a long time... I was lucky in that I had the support of family and friends (mostly) around me...and I have never looked back...Still this is a decision only YOU can make...Is Lapband right for you? Only you can answer that...but I join a long line of successful lapbanders who know that it was right for them...and wouldn't of had it any other way...I think you are to be congratulated for realising there is something more for your life than living under that burden of flab you have carried round for many years...you will experience a new lease on life and have lots of energy you never knew you had which can only help your studies and your active lifestyle...ok there is an adjustment period but lapband is an everyday procedure for the surgeons we entrust our life to when on the operating table...ok 1 in who knows how many millions have complications during surgery but most likely you will not be it... I hope this has encouraged you...I look forward to hearing of your progress. Becky
