I agree with Shutuplena my dr said the same thing when i was worried about slight bruising in my port region...he assured me nothing to worry about just my body getting used to the object inside. Becky

Dont expect too much in the first couple of fills sometimes you do feel restricted sometimes not...for me, I have had 4 fills and still don't feel overly restricted...I am going for another one next week so hopefully that will do the trick for me...Best wishes Becky

Happy Belated Birthday Mark Great to see you play the 'glad game'. it is wonderful to know this probably wont be your last birthday isn't it...Lapband has put years onto my life..and i expect it has done that for you too. Best Wishes Becky

if it is any consolation...I put on a bit of wait during my liquid period post lapband...my dr didn't really care as his thought was the first period is for healing not loosing! You may not really notice a difference in your weightloss until you actually get to solids..so don't be disheartened...just give it time. You'll be allright! Make sure you keep us posted still. becky

Elizabeth.. Hi I know that feeling of overfilling all to well...My dr who was only new to lapband fills...infact I am his first patient filled me up to maximum (4cc) on my 2nd fill...needless to say I was sick! I couldn't keep water down...was vomiting my own saliva...I thought I was going to die...but fortunately my dr saw me for an emergency unfil 2 hrs later (after hours) so i didn't have to put up with it for a whole week like you did...you poor thing! oh well..hopefully things will be ok from here on in now that you have found your sweet spot. becky

I do it all the time...I mean so well but even today I had a huge plate of bacon and eggs, sausage, mushrooms, grilled tomatoe, hashbrowns, toast...I couldn't eat it all...gave some to my kids but I had FAR too much! and then when I was feeling bad enough about that I brought a bar of chocolate and had 4 sweet biscuits...So i know exactly how you feel...I keep on telling myself i am not going to do it again...binge eating but sometimes the temptation is just too much. so I totally feel for you and understand...hopefully I will listen to my own advise...tomorro is another day! becky

For me hunger is mostly in my head...i see food i want to EAT...dont get me wrong I still 'feel' ravenously hungry but while in the past eating 3 platefulls of food filled me up now having a coffee or a small snack generally does the job. Beky

I personally think NSV's give us more to celebrate than where the dial is on the scale...it is so satisfying to pass a 'lifestyle' milestone. Becky

I would go for another fill and wake up 30min earlier in the day to make a takeaway lunch...to take with you hehehe! You'll get there! becky

As unladylike as it is, I am still burping more since lapband than i did before it is actually quite embarassing...sometimes hitting me at the worst of times. Becky
