I have a wide musical taste anything from the black eyed peas to andrea boccielli but I just love the old time jazz...give me Ella Fitzgerald any day and i am happy.

I mix my crushed pills with a bit of honey...it still tastes bitter but the honey sweetens it enough to make it palatable. becky -

Yep! I am out LOUD and PROUD I pretty much tell everybody and anybody that i have had Lapband Surgery...It is quite a conversation starter! The only ones I am a little more reserved in telling are potentials that I meet internet dating...then I keep a bit mum about it. But mostly I have no problem with telling people and explaining to them how it all works! becky

Have you noticed they have become a bit cunning and writing in the header something unrelated to their actual post then when you click on it you get bombarded with their porn links. Grrrrr I hate being duped to click on the thread. Becky

yep...no probs with drinking water...I probably wouldnt drink 3 litres in one go though!!! but sipping throughout the day shouldn't be a problem. apart from at meal times when you aren't supposed to drink. becky

I must admit that is one of the rules i have real trouble with! sometimes, depending on what I am eating, I cant get through a meal without drinking water as well. but I do tend to drink when eating as a habit...I have realised this is a habit it would be beneficial for me to break out of. As I do feel the affects so much more when I don't drink. becky -

Hi ya Maurdan I am afraid it depends on the person...diff people have diff reactions...for myself i was hungry but I drank like it was going out of fashion and it helped...the first couple of days after surgery i didn't really feel like eating. I hope all goes well. becky

Welcome to LBT smilliegal I wasn't working at the time of my surgery...as i was off on maternity leave but i was pretty ok after the first week to chase after a toddler and nurture a baby and do all the housework that that entails...As to taking medication prior to surgery i cant help you there... as i wasn't on any at the time...but best wishes on your surgery...and i look forward to hearing of your progress. becky -
