    Downsizing & dress size

It has taken me a year and a half and -84lb to come down from a size 24 (us) to a size 18 (us). I am interested in finding out if this is pretty standard or if I am just a slow looser...as I think I am. How long has it taken for you? Does anyone know what weight figure (ie 18lb) relates to a new dress size or is it different for everybody.. I am trying to work out how long it will take me now to get to a size 12. :funscale:

    Speaking of doughy bellies

haha! never thought you would be happy with a doughy belly huh? weightloss certainly puts things into perspective doesn't it...for someone else a belly like that would be a curse but for us 'loosers' it is a blessing and something to get really excited about! you go girl! becky

    Pregnancy & Lap Band

Hey ya kitty...by loosing the weight first you will have plenty more energy to handle a bouncing bub! I already have two wee ones but would love more eventually the lapband will not hinder my chances nor be a problem to have in while pregnant so my advise would be sort yourself out first and bubs will follow...probably sooner than later as it has been proven that women at a healthy weight tend to full pregnant easier than those who are not. I look forward to hearing what you decide...best wishes! becky

  15. Hi guys...I know this is probably been asked heaps before... but I have been suffering from intense shoulder blade pain for the last week and I have heard that some back pain could be a signal of slippage...I have been a bit lax over the last few weeks with my eating...but I have had an successful banding experience over the last year... Could my back pain be an early sign of slippage? I have also been feeling alot more 'restricted' than usual and had laboured breathing...you know the way you do when you are full. Has anyone who had slippage on this site...experienced back (shoulder blade) pain. thanks guys...I look forward to your responces. becky
