    :wub:WHATS THE PURPOSE OF ASKING PEOPLE IF THEY HAVE ANY REGRETS IF U R GOING 2 ARGUE WITH THEM ABOUT THEIR REGRETS AND OPINIONS THEY HAVE A RIGHT 2 VOICE HOW THEY FEEL. U DONT KNOW THEIR EXPERIRNCE THEY ARE JUST TRYING 2 KEEP SOMEONE FORM POSSIBLY GOING THREW THAT SAME EXPERIENCE WITH THAT PARTICULAR DOCTOR:thumbup:

  6. its hard take 1 step at a time. use your gym membership start with 30 minutes a day slowly build your way up use your big day as your motivatoo.u may not be a size 12 but u may be able 2 b a size less. no one can push u but u. i wish u the very best b/c i 2 struggle daily
  7. THE wt loss is quicker with the bypass, but u generally have 2 work your butt off with the band.i workout 2x harder than before the band everyday i regret the decsion to have the band and wish i had had the bypass
  8. hi i 2 had my band 12/23/08. i have lost a total oa 30 lbs. my dr. did not have me do the Optifast prior 2 surgery.i did a low fat 2 wks & A 2 DAYliquid .i am a diabetic high blood pressure/single mom.i 2 feel like the band was a waste of my time and hard earned money. iam a self pay. had 2 charge up 3 credit cards 2 have this damn surgery that isn't worth a quarter

    it varies depending on how your clothes fit.i refuse to buy new clothes every size. if you can wear a belt and iron acrease in our pants 2 make them neater.put adart in the waist band

  11. me to having problems losing wt. i have lost inches lbs not showing on scale. onlything i can't eat is bread and rice.but i exercise 2 hrs a day 5 to 6 days a week

    i feel like u i exercise 5 to 6 days a week 1&1/2 to 2 hrs a day. progress ia slow. i tend to have about 3lbs. water wt gain in the evening.if i weigh myself in the am-197lbs, evening 200.my last fill 03/28/9, total 5.6cc.i now fill like i'm full. haven't tried reg food.will try baked fish and salad today

  16. try getting your protein in i'm slowly seeing inches come off.not scale pounds.
  17. i have found that i really tolerate the carnation instant breakfast protein drink really really well.i place it in the freezer and let a little ice get in it.it has 14gms of protien keeps me full and great for ndurance for my 1-2 hrs of exercise
  18. out 12/23/8 :3 months out my scale in the mornings says 15lbs lose but i exercise 5 to 6 DAYS A WEEK 1&1/2 TO 2 HRS A DAY. WITH VERY LITTLE RESULTS
  19. how long and after how many fills did u see real results did u have to do excessive exercise

  22. i was banded 12/23/08.my wt was 215lbs.1st fill 02/06/8 no resistance.3rd fill 03/30.i exercise 5-6 days a week 1&1/2-2 hrs a day.i am conscious of how much and what i eat.recently bought nector protein trying to make sure i get 75mg protein daily.when i went 2 the md my wt was203.with3lbs wter gain.i feel like this surgery was abig waste of time and money.
