  4. Good blog. I was wondering if I was the only one with some of the doubts and fears. It is great to have this forum where we can share these things. I guess we have to remember this is a TOOL. There is still much that I have to do for myself. Learning confidence and patience are two of the top items I need to work on. Confidence that I CAN do this and patience by remembering that it didn't happen overnight so I can't fix it quickly either. I agree that I need to focus on the end result. I am only 5 days out and have my first follow-up in 3 days. So let's just keep each other informed with as much as we can. The more knowledge we have about each of us is going through we will know we are not alone and what we can expect and how to handle it. Power for us in knowledge and support from others experiencing it together. Hang in there and hope to hear from everyone often.
  5. Banded 2-10-09 so 4 days out. It really is strange how different docs recommend different post-op diets. For me...only clear liquids for the first week. Must say it is not so bad tho as I really am not that hungry. I keep myself well hydrated and apparently that is enough for now. Also I am surprised at how tired I am. I have had several surgeries in my past and I guess I didn't think this would be like the others with the fatigue since it is not so invasive but apparently any procedure can kick your butt. LOL So I will just take one day at a time and slowly get back into the routine. I know walking is very important so I will gradually at distance a little each day. Keep me in your thoughts and keep the posts coming. I enjoy reading and comparing our progress.
  6. I had my banding Feb 10th so I am glad to see what you all experienced. I am surprised how tired I feel. I take a couple of naps a day and sleep all night long. Glad I took a couple of weeks off work. I think I will try to take a walk around the block today. Maybe a little exercise will help. I haven't experienced any "hunger pains" as of yet. Thank goodness. One can only do so much broth and crystal light drinks hahaha But keep the info coming, I enjoy reading others questions and answers. It is good to know I am not alone in this.
