Hey guys, Any advice for someone who was banded a few years ago and have gained weight. I never reached my goal and I know I need to go in for a fill. I feel like I did not follow the plan completely and now I would like to start over. I plan on making an appointment next week and try to get filled as tight as possible and start back on my Protein. I feel terrible for gaining 20 pounds even though I lost almost 60 pounds after my surgery. What are your thoughts?

I agree with you. Even though I am ashamed to return to the doctor with weight gain but I really need a fill so that is the route I plan to take in order to get back on the right track. The tighter the better. Thanks.

I have gained a few pounds since I have the ability to eat solids. Not sure how I should deal with it? Any suggestions?

I was just banded as well and I know what you are going through. Hang in there and it will get better. Walk, walk and walk. :thumbup:

Cool thing is that I have lost over 10lbs in 5 days. Amazing... Good luck to everyone having their surgery soon.:thumbup:

I was just banded on 8/4/2009... I am feeling sore and have some serious gas but happy that I am banded. I am not hungry at all and I hope to stay this way. I was banded by Dr. Antonetti. Did anyone else get banded this month already? How are you all feeling?

Nice to meet you adelarosa. I am feeling similar. Hopefully the we will both see significant weight loss soon. :sneaky: I should get my staples removed next week. Thanks for all the encouragement from everyone.

I was just banded on 8/4/2009. It has been an interesting experience thus far (with the gas pains etc.) and I am hoping for a great future with my new lifestyle. Dr. Antonetti is my doctor...any advice you all can give me is greatly appreciated.
