I am glad you are doing so great!!! I'm just waiting for May 6th that is my first appointment..

I am just starting this journey and have a lot of questions. I have been approved by my insurance company. I just want some advice how long where you off work after your lap band. I have two kids and work full time and go to school full time. I want have the surgery to change my life and feel better. Just give the best advice you can. I would really appreciate it. I haven't had it yet I have a long wait. I made an appointment today with a doctor that does the lab band and the first appointment they had isn't until MAY 6th! So here comes the wait.

I haven't had my surgrey yet but have been wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking.

Thank you for all your great advice. I am really nervous about the entire thing. The more I read the more nervous and excited I get. I know that its not magic that you have to work at it I know that but I have lost weight I just can't keep it off so I hope that this will help. How are you doing with your journey? :biggrin:

Thanks for your help I haved talked to my PCP too. She has recommend a doctor for me to see about my surgrey. How are you feeling? I'm excited and scared at the same time.

Hello and nice to meet everyone. I haven't even scheduled my surgery get I am just doing research and finding out some general information. I have got approved by my insurance company and just waiting for my appointment with the doctor that will do my surgery. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. How long did it take you guys to have a date for surgery after your first initial appointment? I would love any help or advance you could give me would be greatly appreciated. :crying:
