  1. Piper is adorable and I love that name. I have a 4 year old daughter, Chloe, and a 6 month old son, Aidan. I'm thankful that my little guy is small enough that I wasn't limited from holding him after surgery, but my daughter is having a hard time coping. She too wants to be held more than normal. It's really so much better when you can move on to more thick, pureed stuff. My doctor says "liquid" for 3 weeks post op, but in his list of "liquids", he says anything the consistency of baby food. You'll be amazed by how great applesauce tastes, really! I'm making a spiced cream of pumpkin soup later, and I can't wait for some new flavors. The post op visit was pretty uneventful. I had already taken my bandages off at home pursuant to doctor's orders. He checked the incisions, weighed me, gently felt the port area and talked to me about the diet. It was in and out and I am scheduled for my first fill on 6/23. Let me know how yours goes. Glad to hear that you're doing well too.
