CONGRATS!! You are doing so great!!! Can you tell me about a day in your life... food and exercise wise. I am about a month away from surgery and am trying to figure out how to have the BEST results and you're doing pretty magnificent so I thought maybe you could help me!

Did you have to drink EAS shakes or did it just have to be low carb? I have found this phenominal protein shake. It is called Pure Protein... It has 22 grams of protein, only 110 calories, 2g of fat, 2g carbs and 1g sugar... would that work??

It's pretty exciting to hear your back to sleeping on your tummy because the thought of not being able to is very sad...
. So what did your pre-op diet consist of? Congrats on the 6 pounds... that is FANTASTIC! I am so excited for you!! :) Are you experiencing any struggles?? -
So you were banded on the 27th?? How are you feeling? What did you have to do from the time you set your date with your surgeon up until your surgery date? Any advice for someone getting close??

Today I got the approval from my insurance company and while I haven't had the surgery yet... I didn't realize something could feel so good!!! Just to know that I am on my way. I feel like I am on top of the world!!

It is so nice to meet you! Your girls are beautiful! I look forward to reading more about your success and overcoming obstacles! I am hoping to be banded in March... I have finished all of the pre-op stuff... just need to set a date, hopefully we'll do that this week. Keep up the great work!

Well here I go off on a new adventure and a long and exciting journey. Here I am 28 years old and as society would like to say... fat! I have struggled with weight all my life. Just about everyone in my family is overweight or morbidly obese. I am here to start the journey to be on the other side of the fence. I have a beautiful 20 month old daughter that I can't keep up with and have decided to make my outsides match my insides. I have so many aspirations and dreams for things to do in my life and with my daughter and family... I'm not going to let weight slow me down. So here I come... onto lapbandtalk.com. I'm one of the lucky ones... not only do I have a phenominal support system in my family I also have two wonderful friends who work with me that will be going through the process with me. They too have decided that the lap band is the change they need in their life to help them be and accomplish what they dream. I am not very good at navigating this site so please bear with me... but I am so excited to meet everyone and look forward to learning all about the travels that have gotten you to where you are today. :tt2:
