Thank you so much for the friend request. Yes ma'am I am in ONEderland! I hit it the other day and it felt just as sweet as hitting 50 lbs lost... It has been such a wonderful journey! OH YULEE! You're right it isn't an everyday name or an everyday town. I'm not really too fond of it or my hour commute to work, but my fiance lived here and he LOVES where he is working and I had already been looking for 19 months for a new job so it was easier for me to move to timbucktoo! (sp) I wish you the VERY best of luck wiht your approval and the scheduling of your surgery! If there is anything I can do to help/encourage or support you through this time... know that I am here!

Hi sweets... you are doing SO GREAT!!! I understand about him not doing your third fill... my dr. didn't do mine either bc I was down 12 lbs since my last visit. I am down as of today 52.2 lbs and feeling great! I FINALLY got to see what 199 looks like it was magnificent even if it is only .2 under... I'll take it. It made me feel like a million dollars! How are you feeling? Are you exercising at all? I am glad to hear you are doing so spectacular and look forward to hearing more! KIT

I am so glad you are feeling good! When I went back for my first appt post op I was only down 12 so you're doing GREAT! You will start feeling a million times better when you get some real food in you! I didn't start exercising until about a month ago. Things were a bit stressful with work I just made too many excuses and didn't do it. Since I've started exercising I feel so much better. I was supposed to get a fill on Friday (8/21/09) but he didn't do one b/c I was down 12 lbs since my previous visit (3 wks) he said if I wanted one he would do it... but I opted not to, I will next time. I am SO excited I finally hit 50!!! I felt like a million dollars that day! :) Just remember the journey has just started, your body is still healing and you are doing FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey girlie... it's been a few days since we spoke last. just wanted to see how you are feeling and how life in general is. I think about now you are probably starting soft foods, how are you feeling? I hope all is well and look forward to hearing from you! Thinking of you!

Thank you so much for the encouraging photo comment. WOW... down 75 lbs... must feel great to be below 200! I can't wait until I am there. You look magnificent and your girls are SOO beautiful! What do you think has been the key to your success so far? When were you banded? I hope all is well and look forward to hearing from you!

I am SO glad to hear that everything went well and am so excited for you that he was able to do the surgery as a SLIP. I hope you don't try to over do it tonight with the kiddo's! Remember your body needs time to heal!! I'm sorry to hear about your vomitting spell... I don't envy you! PLEASE try to take it easy and take some time for yourself to heal and get to feeling better. I live in the area so if there is ANYTHING at all that I can do... I'm here! I updated the pictures the other day when you asked... but like my comments say... it's pretty impossible to tell a difference. They are marked as @ the 44lb mark though. I look forward to seeing some pics of your progress too! :)

You have to take into consideration most other people are also grossly over the BMI of 40 when they go on the pre-op also... you are not so your weight loss will be harder and slower bc you don't have as much to lose, you have SO much to be proud of and 1.5 is down not up!!! I am SO excited for you... you'd think I was the one having surgery tomorrow! I hope all goes well and I can't wait to hear how it all goes! I will keep you in my prayers!

Did you get to ask Dr. B about doing the single incision surgery? I hope that he is able to do that for you! T-Minus 4 1/2 days... WOO HOO! I will get some pictures posted on here... hopefully tonight.

I think 44 lbs in 3 months is great... so I don't get too hard on myself when the scale and I argue! I'm feeling 100% more alive and better everyday. I am so excited and if there is ANYTHING I can do to help you... I'm here for you! Enjoy supper w/your hubby!

I am SO excited for you!! You will be able to eat PLENTY of steak after surgery... no sweat! But enjoy it anyway! I'm glad the low carb part won't be hard for you... b/c it's a killer for me! I am a carbohydrate addict! The liquid part actually isn't that hard bc when you are on liquids it is because your body is healing and you aren't that hungry at that point anyway... when you are on soft food though... you are going to want to eat a whole cow! LOL. I ate A LOT of jello when I was on clear liquids, I stayed away from broth, bc w/nothing in it... it wasn't very appealing. Then when I went to full liquids I drank the jayrobb protein shakes, they are delicious. I ate a lot of cottage cheese and eggs when I was on soft foods... really depends on your taste preferences. I am so glad that I can be a support to you. I think it's awesome that you are having surgery 3 months to the day after mine.

OMG!!!!! BETH I AM SO EXCITED!!!! That is FANTASTIC news and by far the best way to start my week!! I am so happy for you! How are you going to celebrate this wonderful occassion?
