    Crackers?

Well i don't personally feel there is anything wrong with eating crackers, i buy the reduced fat ritz ones myself, and like everything else, eat them in moderation and you will be fine. One of my favorite snacks is cheese and crackers.

    Crackers?

I ate crackers after two weeks post op or so, mainly like you with tuna, just make sure you chew them up well, sometimes they will go down alittle rough at first, but then its ok. I also like to eat lunchables for lunch sometimes, great source of protein, and not to terribly bad even with the carbs.

    Pizza and Pancakes

well i tried my first pancake a week or so ago, and with alittle butter and syrup, it went down with no problems, i only ate one, along with a couple eggs, and was good to go till lunch.

    Pizza and Pancakes

I haven't tried to eat pancakes but have eaten some thin crust pizza from pizza hut, i was able to eat about 3 small slices and was full. I did try to eat a flour tortilla this past weekend, and after throwing up for 2 hours it finally came back up and i felt like crap for the next two days, so i don't think ill be eating those ever again, and i don't think ill try pancakes either, but a waffle house waffle sounds realy good.
  8. I had my surgery at the same place, they so all fills and unfills under floro. Im on Federal BCBS right now and i just pay my $30 co-pay, but without insurance its only 75 bucks.

Apnea and will NOT use Cpap

Well im not going to preach to you, i was diagnosed with Sleep apnea alittle over 2 years ago, and this was after about a year if getting more and more tired, no matter how much i slept. So after 2 years on the CPAP, i feel better than ever, and as much as i hate wearing the mask at night to sleep, its worth it because i feel so much better. I say you give it a shot for the 3 weeks, and see if you notice a differance, if you dont then dont continue to use it, but id atleast give it a chance.

Help don't want (boink)partner to know

Yeah, i say its just easier to tell the truth, if the person cant accept you for that, or has a problem that you used to be overweight, than you don't need them anyways, and will be better off finding somebody that accepts you for who you are now or then and who you used to be. Just my $.02

    Which band should I choose?

My surgeon used the Allergen band, but I'm pretty sure they are all the same.
  12. Yeah this has def been the best decision Ive made for myself. I posted an update, 2 weeks post op, and I'm down to 357, so that's 30lbs total since i first went to the lap-band dr that 2nd week in December. Like said above, if you need it, then go for it.

Help don't want (boink)partner to know

I don't see the big deal, Ive told everybody i know, best decision Ive made. Id just come clean from the start, its not that big of a deal.
  14. Ok, well i got the band put on last friday the 13th, everything went pretty good, i was pretty out of it all day friday and mostly just slept. Came home from the hospital on saturday afternoon, and was still pretty tired, so i went to bed early and slept till noon today. I had a slight fever last night, but took some tylenol when i went to bed and i feel much better today. I havent had alot of actual pain, more soreness than anything, which is alot better today. The last few days, ive just been drinking broth, fruit juice, Water, and some applesauce, and i drank a protien shake today, but it may have been alittle thick, so i think ill wait a few more days to try one again. I go back for my post op appointment on the 19th, and im sure ill have some news to post an update.
  15. I just got banded yesterday, the 13th, and was pretty out of it all day yesterday ad just slept, but today im feeling much better, have some soreness, not really a lot of pain, and just doing liquids for now.
