Thank you all for your thought, prayers and kind words. No, I wouldn't take Zanaz except for one pill for anxiety but I a haven't took any until he ight beofre surgery. My husband is just on my arsh over eveything in life and I've just got to get thick skinned. He's been all for my sugery and they yesterday I had to baby and we needed his truck so I could go buy her a little 4 wheeler, battery things you ride on. I switched her carseat with her in it, all of teh things I had bought at the store, 4 bags, diaper bag, purse, toy bag, then I put the portable air compressor I knew he was going to use in the strunk of my car, got out the stroller and put in my car truck (He had drove mine to work) and after all of this out in the hot son her said, "What do you thing your doing?" I said, "I need your truck to get some bags of much and Briana's 4 wheeler, and he said, "Not in my truck your not, use your own car. I bought him that damn new truck 3 months ago and now he doesn't want ME driving it so without missing a lick I reunloaded everything again, loaded everything back up and when I went to life the heavy air compressor up over the top rails on the back of his truck and it's the big 4 door truck, bam, it hit me like a ton on bricks. I pulled that muscle or something where my port is. 'Feels just like a pulled muscle. Well, today everytime I moan about it he say, "Your the one who wanted the band, not me. Wouldn't that just let all the air out of your sail. Hell my air's leaked out and I'm about the sink. Well, didn't mean to write a story, just have to vent, been such a hard week. Love you all,

I've been banded for 7 weeks and my doctor told me I could babysit my 11 month old but just for 2 days a week since I had 2 loose stitches. My parents which are the great grandparents are pissed because they've had to help watch the baby, and she is precious. Well, without 1 hour notice my parents took off the North Carolina for a week and made the snide remark to my daughter, "Well, guess Granny will just have to watch her the next 8 days. I have a job too. I just sit down and cried. I'm the oldest and I have 2 younger brothers that they have to support and since they dont have to help us it seems like they take everything out on me. I've had 3 surgeries counting the band in 2 years and not in the best of health myslef. I know I'm being a baby but the baby loves me the most and wouldn't even let me dress, brush my teeth, put on deoderant, anything, she would just scream. I started getting nervous and then thinking about what my parents did, I just broke down and the more I cried the more the baby cried. I called my husband at work, we owe it, and ask for his help, and after 25 years of marriage he said it's your baby, deal with it, I'm busy. You shoud have told your 'daughter no, no babysitter. I couldn't have done that she's a nurse and would have got into trouble. I just dont know what to do. I just want to go to sleep and never wake up. Sorry for the vent, your my family and I didn't know who to go to, I feel like I'm off in a world all by myselfl. Thanks for letting me vent. I've got to quit crying, I know tomorrow has to be better. Plus, all day long and it's 6pm I've had 2 french fries and that's it.

The band is helping both of us. Since I've had surgery he's number one jealous and he's never been overweight but we also order one meal and I'll eat about 1/4 and he eats the rest where before he would have eat it all. So we both win.

Yes, It's my granddaughter. My husband works all day, but we own the store and I help him there when I'm not keeping her but when he gets home and I ask him for his help, I get a cussing. He never use to talk so ugly to me. It's starting to sound like marital problems but I always give into him no matter what, we're the only ones on both sides of the family who haven't divorced. I don't want that, but these cussings and telling me how worthless I am sure does hurt. Well, on the baby, I took her to the doctor as like I said she has cried for 5 days and it's not like her. She had 2 what I thought were mosquitoe bites and 2 hours after we got there she had them everywhere. chicken pox. Now I see why she was so cranky. My daugher had took her to the St. Louis Zoo last weekend. Well at least that part is taken care of now, to get myself out of this funk. I don't even care about my weight at this moment, I am just so down, it would take a forklift to lift me up. LOL Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Sherri Jo

It sure does taste awful but when I picked up my prescriptions it was 5, 16 oz. bottles with refills. I thought my God who could ever drink 5. I drink one and have the rest but my daugher got an abscess tooth and gook 2 of them home with her. I still have one that's never been opened. For this month I had him give me the pills as I take them for my ruptured discs. It's not expensive but I don't think it's as good as the pills either. My liquid is 7.5 hydrocodone and my pills are 10mg. Good luck.

Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't posted in the last few days. I've still got my granddaughter and now my husband is treating me like a real jerk because I've got the baby all of the time. We had the worse fight today. We've been married 25 years and builing a huge new home and the kids are grown and when things should be going the greatest, they suck. 2 days before his parents 25 wedding anniversary his dad broke it to us to cancel it because he's been living with a girl half his age and is going to marry her. It really did something mentally to my husband. His Mom has been married 3 times and doesn't even socialize with us, she's kinda weird and my family is not all that better, they've not been divorced but they ag things on. I just don't know what to do. We argued today and his first words out of his mouth every single time we argue is I think we need a divorce. It hurts so bad, He doesn't think people can agrue, it's either happy, happy, happy or divorce. I'm at my wits end. I just wanted to take me about 10 zanex and go to bed. Mind you I don't do drugs but they gave them to me before surgery and I've only taken a couple. But, I've cried for 3 days and every time I eat it gets stuck, what is up with that, it never use to get stuck. I was losing great now it's been almost 2 months and I've only lost 35 pounds. I'm just ready to give up. Sorry about the post but I just need some words of encouragement, bad. Love you all, Sherri

Thanks guys, I know you think I'm losing it, it's just been more that I can bare today. It seems that although I told my whole family from day one that this surgery everntually has cost almost 15,000 out of our savings and I'm as going to strictly abide by his wishes and it's like they dont even care. In one ear and out of the other. Thanks again for your advie and I know I'll get through it I just hope I'll get through it sane. YOur right about eating, I eat one of her french friend and was stressed to the max and up it came so no food for me today. Thanks for your concern. I really needed it.

I'm so relieved, with everything that's going wrong in my life, something actually went right. AlexisMom got my gift before Labor day she was just out of town. Hey Funny, No, I've had 2 and it's not bad at all. I went by myself and drove the 10 hours round trip by myself as well. They won't hit your tubing or your port because it shows right up on the screen. I had 1.5 and then 2 weeks later .75, total 2.25 and have great restriction. You'll do fine. Email me sometime. I seen all of the mess going on and I sure hate it. Good luck with your fill.

Joy, My prayers and thoughts are with you. I know only you know what is best for you. I hope that if you guys still love each other that you can work this out. Maybe a few days apart will make the heart grow fonder. I hope you can work this out and that the kids can understand that no matter what you both love them very much. It's so hard for them to understand.

Kat, My package went out almost 10 days ago, priority. I have the return recipt thing that I bought extra so mine went to Louisville which is in the same state. I'm very upset that I've not heard if my pal got hers or not and now it's labor day. I will be at the post office Tuesday morning with my receipt to find out what in the hell happened. I do apologize, hell you would have thought it went to Iran. If my pal got hers already please let me know as I'm worried sick. I agree, I would like to know who will be the one missing a gift and I will send her a gift certificate. It's not right for her to have took the time and energy to buy one and not receive one regardless of what went on and I sure don't want to know or want in on it. I'm glad I kept my mouth shut.

Congrats, you deserve it, I'm so glad your band is working for you and yes I agree the fill is the key for help. I got my 2nd fill 2 weeks ago and it has worked wonders. I too am about at the same, 2.25 but now it is t.o.m. and I can tell I'm eating a tad more and had my first pbing incident yesterday and it was horrible. It hurt so bad but I made it through it. I had said I wasn't going to post with all of the stuff that was going on with the people talking so nasty on here but I feel this is my home as much as anyone's and I don't have a single problem with noone so I'm going to try it but just try to not post very much. I just wanted to say how proud for you I was.

I have the low profile port and they are even harder to feel and fact you cannot feel mine neither can Dr. Curry, it's just too deep. Therefore, without the fluro your doctor would have to poke and poke. After 3 pokes Dr. Curry took me straight to fluro and hit it first time and with my 2nd fill 2 weeks later went straight to fluro, no guess work involved. Also, first thing he looks at before even putting the fill in is to make sure my port is where it should be, band is in correct position and takes a look at tubing. To me, although just my opinion, you can check everything out in a glance and takes about 5 seconds with fluro.

I just wanted to say I agree about this website. I've got to where I don't even log on because I don't want to read through all of the crap people have been throwing. I stay mainly on the other forum that Dr. Sanchez has and so far NONE of this goes on there. Maybe after everything dies down I'll come back around.

John, Thank you so much for the update. I know you have other things to do but please let her know we are all praying for her and she and yourself are in our thoughts. I pray for her a smooth recovery from this point on. Lord knows she's been through enough and so have you. Keep up the faith and please keep us posted.

My husband went right back to work and it was just me at home and I done fine. Everything I needed to drink was in the fridge and the walking back and forth done me good. You'll do great.

Way to go Stephanie and Beth, you girls are rocking and rolling. I didn't exercise at all today, unless, LOL you count riding 4 wheelers up and down the clifts for 4 hours. I was scared to death. Mine would start spinning and try to flip over and my dh would laugh. Then I'd turn on a side of a hill and almost flip all of the way down. He thought it was hilarious and believe you me if I'd had one of my adivans with me I'd took it. I thought I was a gooner. I was determined to keep up with the guys. You girls are doing great. Keep up the wonderful work.

Lord knows I'm no expert, just been banded 7 weeks, but it sure sounds like her surgeon doesn't want her to stay banded for some reason. I had acid reflux before banding, but bam, since surgery, none. I wonder what she is eating and how often and if she's chewing, chewing, chewing. I remember right before I got back on the plane in Mexico, Dr. Sanchez's asst. said Sherri, one last thing, don't forget to chew, chew, chew, chew, chew,. It was kind of funny. I agree with what you told her and I sure wouldn't take my band out unless I'd tried everything under God's green earth. Number1, I love my band, Number 2, they're expensive and Number 3, it's like anything you have to learn to use it. Good luck and wish I had some infomate wisdom. Sherri

Did he give you phentegran? If not, that will sure stop it. Before my surgery my pcp gave me 90 of those with 5 refills. He said he didn't want me to ever have to puke. Let me know if you have any of these.

UMMMMMMMM Funny, I'm sipping on a diet sprite right this minute. We've been riding 4 wheelers for the last 4 hours and I came in and fixed dh one and I took it away from him. LOL I'm glad Dr. Curry says they are okay. I've not had over 3 oz. at a time and about 4 times since banding. No problems at all.

Thank you Telly, I think your the coolest, most hip, and cutest girl of this board. You rock. Your the whole reason I bought a treadmill and I get on it everyday. I wished I lived near you so I could workout with you. You are very motivating and your hair cut rocks. You go girl.

Wow, It seems like everyone is rocking and rolling. I lost another 5 this week. This second fill has been a godsend. He has me scheduled for a third fill in three weeks but I'll wait and see. I'm able to get in 800 calories or so with no problem. Just chew, chew, chew. We're going to Florida in 2 weeks and it was soooooo much fun going through my closet and taking out what I can't wear. I have 5 of the biggest totes they make full of mine and dh's clothes, (He's lost 45 pounds since I decided to get banded and he wasn't even heavy). I guess if there's nothing cooked, you don't eat. LOL Anyway, I have all of those clothes to donate and now probably one hand full that does. But, what a wonderful feeling. I'm also going in mid October to help out in Louisiana so that will be rewarding. I know I've only lost almost 40 pounds but I can sure fill it and cant wait to loose the other 75. LONG WAY TO GO, but with the band's help, we can do it. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day, isn't the weather fabulous. Highs have been low 80's. Yea haa.
