I'm brand new to this site, I was looking for support groups in my area...

I found this site I'm going to go ahead and give it a try, sooooo...

Here goes, a little about me...

I'm a married mother of one. My husband is the Army, I'm in my twenties.

I'm nearing the end of my journey of tests and evaluations. I have 1.5 months left til I can actually have the lap band surgery, I'm hoping to schedule an apt with my surgeon next week.

I'm excited, apprehensive, and scared but I think this is the next important step to becoming the new me, well, a BETTER version of me anyways

I'm just looking to meet people on the same track, people I can talk to and hopefully relate to.
