    sweet spot weight loss

when you reached your sweet spot how much weight were you losing each week? I've been steadily losing 2 lbs a week but now I have 6 cc's in and since my last fill on April 25th I've lost 5 lbs. Thanks!

    Weight loss and Menstrual Cycle

I notice my PMS symptoms are way less than what they used to be. My boobs used to get really sore and I'd get really bad back pain. I notice I no longer get those things. Just cramps. My weight loss stalls as well during this time that's why I don't get frustrated. But I no longer gain weight.
  3. Tell me about it. I need to start losing in my arms, lower stomach, thighs and butt. I have a big bubble butt. I also have fat calves. I want to have nice, shapely calves.
  4. I certainly hope so. Have a good weekend! You're almost there. You'll be banded before you know it and then your new life begins.

  5. Each doctor is different. Mine puts no restrictions on me at all but other's do. I've had no problems eating right after a fill.
  6. Had a bit of a trying week. I work in Elections and Tuesday was school elections and they brought in all this not so good for you food. So of course I had to have some. Although I did not do as bad as I would have in the past and I think the scale will show that when I weigh myself tomorrow. If I gained a pound this week oh well I won't fret because I know it'll come off next week.

That's alot of weight you've lost so far. How awesome is that. Your liquid diet will be easier. By next week you won't be wanting to kill people and being around food will be easier for you. You will see that weight dropping off you and it will keep you focused on your goal!

  7. No my kids consist of my dog the real LibbyJane and my cat Jake. lol. But Happy Mother's Day to you!

  8. Everybody is different. The 1st week post op I lost 5 lbs and then I stalled for a month. After that I started losing 2 lbs a week steadily. Don't fret and don't get discouraged. You will get there!

    Marriage support?

Hey Lulu. Does he ever say why he doesn't want to lose the weight? Is there something holding him back?
  10. Hey how's the protein diet going for you? Kill anybody yet? lol. I know I wanted to. Those first few days were h*ll.

    Help....a little long

Nina you will get yourself back there. Dealing with what you are dealing with no wonder. You made the first step by getting an appointment for a fill that will help you and then maybe after that you can get some motivation.

    2nd Fill & 2LB gain 2 days after?

You are either PMSing and retaining water or you are constipated and once it clears out of your system you will probably see the extra 2 lbs drop.

So a month into being banded it finally dawned on me to take my measurements and at the time my weight was 283 lbs. These were my measurements: Bust 49 1/2 Waist 49 1/2 Hips 62 Thigh 35 Arm 18 1/2 2 months later I finally got around to doing it again. 18. Loved your message. I'm still cracking up! Of course I would love for you to share in my experience in shopping in the little girls section as opposed to the fat lady section. lol. Hopefully by this time next year I can squeeze my big butt into a misses size . . uh I don't even know where they start and fat lady sizes begin. I guess I'll strive for a 14. lol.

    Disneyland??

You are going 1 week post surgery? well 1 week post surgery they removed my staples and I had already been back to work 4 days and driving for 3 of those days. You will be okay. Just be careful on some of the rides. Maybe stay away from space mountain.
  20. If you are up against those kind of obstacles (nature) I would just drive to my local school and use the track. It's much safer that way.
  21. Libbyjane1976

    Sixteen!!

That is so cool. Congrats to you. It's got to be weird going from plus down to misses. I've shopped in the plus section since I was 15 years old. i have no clue how to even shop in the misses section.
  22. Wow that is frickin' awesome!!!! Congratulations!

1 Month and 40 lbs after surgery

Wow that's alot of weight you lost in a month. I would have the doctor unfill you a bit. He shoudl have waited a month to even fill you since your body needs to recover from the surgery. Also, are you taking Vitamins? Maybe that would help some. Make sure you take a Protein suplement as well. good luck to you!

    someone please help me

Aww sweetie don't beat yourself up. You just need to deal with your issue with food. Do you have a support group with your doctors office? Maybe a nutritionist? I would definitely see a psychologist to help deal with why you over eat. You didn't come this far to go through what you went through to get banded to not use it. The band's an awesome tool to help you lose weight. The face that you are exercising is awesome. You will start to feel much better and you will probably start to feel more motivated. So the next time you feel like snacking have fruits and veggies on hand instead of chips and Cookies. good luck to ya! Hope you can get back on track!
