can anyone tell me wheather they have lost there sex drive since having the lapband fitted

i had my band fitted in november last year and ive had 4 fills so far im at 7.5 mls and my last fill was in april ive only got 6lb to lose but im struggling to move it do you think i should get another fill :thumbup:

well i was told that the saline they put into the lapband evaporates over time and you have to go back and be topped back up every now and then

hi im interested to know if after reaching goal weight how often do you have to go back to have top ups done cause im paying for mine myself and its getting quite expensive

hi there the exact thing has happened to me to ive contacted the hospital and they are going to check it out for me next week

hi to everyone well everything was going fine with me until i went for my 3rd fill which put me up to 7 ml but i dont feel as if ive got more restriction i can eat more and my appetite has come back i had more restriction when i went from 5ml to 6 ml has this happened to anyone else i have a 10ml band :thumbup::thumbup:

hi to everyone im from england and i got banded in november last year. On december 16 i had fill to 5 ml and had 2nd fill january 19 to 6ml it was tight at first but now wearing off i need another fill they told me i wouldnt be able to have more than 8ml or i wouldnt be able to swallow my saliva Has anybody else been told this

hi libertysuzanne when were trying clothes on i get the same problem as you but i usually by clothes that are to small for me so we cant always judge how big we really are with the mirror .Can i ask where you got banded as i dont live to far from you im in worcestershire and got banded at dolan park bromsgrove

:thumbup::ohmy:hi im feeling for you to as im in the same situation i had my band fitted on 13november and ive had 2 fills so far ive now got 6ml in my band i had my last fill on the 19 january im wondering if its to soon to have another fill done yet ihave managed to lose 8lb since i had my last fill by self restricting

im the same as you so far ive had 2 fills i find the worst time is at the weekends i try to self restrict im due for my 3 fill in about 4 weeks time it does get better the closer you get to that sweet spot

you will be fine i had hardly any pain from the cuts just a bit from the gas which is like trapped wind i was back at work with in a week and i have physical job you will be surprised

:thumbup:can i just ask what type of band and size do most people have cause your fills dont seem the same as mine ive got an ap small with 10cc capacity ive had 2 fills so far and im at 6cc they have told me i wont have more than 8cc in my band

sorry forgot to tell you im from birmingham in england my surgeon was mr ssurgedson from the hospital group how many band fills do you need to have before you get adequate restriction:closedeyes:
