I am writing a quick note from the oncologist's office. Drove mom and dad here early this morning. Dad having a rough day today- doesn't feel good. we were supposed to go back tuesday but dad misunderstood and told pilot wed. Not a big deal, can stay another day.it makes him feel in control of one thing anyways. ; ) My sis took nelson to a ranch with petting zoo and tractor ride! Boy is he a happy camper! I think we r eating eggsalad for a few days- we colored 2 dozen eggs! Yesterday we went to bro and sil house for easter. Nels wouldn't eat one thing she made! Lol. Sil pissed me off when she complained about him being picky! She made casseroles, veggies and ham. He doesn't like pork at all. He ate bread and an apple. She didn't even have cheese in the house! Ughhh. And sil refused to acknowlege weight loss - mine nor my sis. Bitch, imho. I joked and called her kate gosselin after she criticized bro's cooking..lol! Boy was she pissed, ha! Hot weather here- mid 80s! Ok guys, will comment on posts tonight. Hard to read them on my phone! Hugs....laura

Hi all~ kinda of a fly by post. Glanced the posts and just have to comment on a couple real quick. Apples~hugs. I am praying DS is ok. A nephrectomy sounds so radical for an infection. Did they do a CT scan or just xray/ultrasound to find stone? I am sure he will be happy to have you there to care for him. Safe travels if you go. Wishing him a speedy recovery! Julie~OMW............. A wedding!!!! You were serious about needing a MOB dress! WOW. Congrats! All we want is our kids to be happy- maybe this is her knight. Hope so! Happy Easter everyone! peasout..Laura

Good evening girlies~ Happy Early Easter to everyone! Hope the Easter bunny is NOT good to you guys! No jelly beans or chocolate. : ) Apples~Glad your appt is overwith. Stones suck. You have a positive way of looking at it though. And hey- maybe you passed on stones to your kids but you are the best mom EVER! Your sons are so blessed that they have a mom that cared- and not to mention how they got your beautiful eyes and knock out smile! : ) Jewel~WTG on 40 lbs!!! Have a great trip. Don't stress too much about the move- just think of all the new found freedom! Good luck on exams and papers. Ketones are from the higher protein diet. It's ok short term. It's also from losing muscle- as we lose we lose both muscle and fat. That's why it is so important to exercise, so you don't lose mostly muscle. Really important to drink a lot of water to flush that protein out of your kidneys. Melissa~ Yeah, you can fall in love without meeting before. I knew before I met these guys that I loved them. I love you too and haven't met ya. : ) Phyl~ You crack me up- waiting for Apples to give you the answer! You have me craving chili for some reason this week. Janet~ Thanks for the sweet comments. SMOOCH. ok guys, I think I am off to bed early. My folks like me up and adam in the morning to have breakfast with them. Gotta get my beauty sleep ya know. I am missing my DH something awful tonight. POUT. peasout... Laura

sunrise on the lake

Hi guys~ Apples, hope you get some answers. Are you having pain, or just time to kick your tires and change oil? Good luck. Janet~Thanks for the info. LOVE that letter. Great reminder. Julie~ Don't judge the book on its cover. Cap, skinny, piercings... he might just be the lid for her pot! HUGS. Thanks LakyKC~ Nice words. : ) NYSpark~ Rolls, ahh, so tempting. It's ok, don't knock yourself over that. You are doing so good. It's ok, it's a holiday. Eva~Fungus in the lungus doesn't sound fun! And it's titer. This morning got up real early with my mom and helped with breakfast. The sunrise was just breathtaking this morning. My sister took nels to a transportation museum about an hour away. He's in heaven riding trains and looking at cars and airplanes! It was also good for her to get out and walk and have a change of scenery. My Dad has been talking about wanting a swivel lazy boy chair so he can turn around and see the lake when he's in the sunroom. I just picked up the phone and asked what they had in inventory and BOUGHT IT. They will deliver next week. Everything on my mom's list I am like BAM, give it to me! NEXT! It's so easy to do this though when you come in fresh. They have been in battle for so long, everyone is just turning in circles. I did 3 loads of laundry, cleaned fridge and pulled to deck chairs two the deck that dad can use. He needs to get out and get fresh air. I need to go, but wanted to say hi and have my little LBT fix. : ) peasout.. Laura

Here are some photos from the airport... My flying ace!

Hi Guys~ We made it to NC. We actually had a wonderful flight- clear, blue sky and zero turbulence! My parents were so excited to see Nelson! GREAT news--- Dad got his nephrostomy tube out today! The nephrologist was so frustrated that the interventional radiologist did not take it out, and he removed it in the office! Well, Dad is very happy and already planning what he will be able to do. Bath, swimming, etc. He has not been able to soak in water since November- only showers. We turned on the heat in his pool and will get it ready in the next few days. Melissa~ hugs.. hang in there! You CAN do it! We've all been there. Hi to everyone- the connection is iffy tonight, want to post before i lose what I typed. peasout.... Laura

APPLES!!!!!!!!!!! Your package came today!!!!!!!! Nelson loves his farming game! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! : ) He saw it sitting in front of the door and said- look! It has my name on it! And she wrote each word in a different color- AND.. she put cute Easter stickers all over it! He loved the doggy card also. You are tooooo much! Just had to tell you how quick it got here! HUGGGGSSSSSS! A pic to show you what we did after school today...

Hello guys~ Don't have too long to chit chat- getting last minute stuff done before my trip to NC tomorrow! The weather is supposed to be nice there- so looking forward to some spring weather. They have so many things in bloom right now, will try to get some photos by the lake. Will even try and talk my Dad into going out on the boat. Mom said he is really down this week b/c they weren't able to remove the nephrostomy tube. Everything else is looking really good and he is shocking all his doctors. We won't know for sure until after chemo round #6 when they can do the repeat PET scan. He will start #5 on Monday- so the end is in sight for chemo. I hope Nelson's presence will perk him up some. Apples~ OMW, you are too much! So nice of you to think of him. You do too much! He loves you guys and asks frequently how you are. Thank you in advance. : ) Julie~ We are crossing fingers and toes- hoping you get some answers today! Janet~ Post of pic of you in your zebra dress! Arlene~WTG on the 8!!! that is awesome! Your hard work is paying off! woooohoo Eva~ (said in best Wall-E voice) Love your invites and the bug! One of Nelson's favorite movies of all time is Herbie. I had a VW Rabbit back in undergrad- It had a bumper sticker that said 0 to 60 in sixty minutes! LMAO. ; ) Too cute that you had "A rib". This band is amazing. We had date night too (funny that you guys are on the same schedule). We went to Toojays- a NY style Deli. I ordered 1/2 cup chicken noodle soup/ 1/2 turkey sandwich. Had the broth and only 5 bites of the sandwich. (less than a 1/4 of sandwich). So glad my band is still working. I didn't have pain but was full. Femme~Get rid of the cake and ice cream! You are doing so good with the exercise, keep it up! Not sure about the Mederma, but highly unlikely it really works. I also scar pretty bad. Best thing to do for scars is use sunscreen if in the sun. Other thing you can do is moisturize and massage them. I went to a dermatologist for mine and they injected them with cortisone to break them up a little. They are flatter but stretched out a little wider. Also as I have lost weight they wrinkled up a little. I hope that after I get to goal and keep it off for a year- that most of the scars will be cut off with PS. Sometimes you can just have a scar revision- where they cut out the scar and then resew the skin with more delicate sutures. When there is less tension on the skin, they tend not to get so thick. Depends how much they bother you. ok girlies... I am off to run errands and clean and pack and..... peasout.. Laura

Good morning sunshines! This is the first morning I woke up and wasn't immediately reminded that my stomach was hurting! yipeeeee, what a great feeling. And I am sure you guys are just about sick and tired of hearing me being sick and tired. ; ) I will tell you this, another thing that helps you not eat is when you have to take a medicine one hour before you eat. (Carafate Suspension. Has anyone else taken this??) You have to PLAN to eat, take the medicine and then WAIT. So if you aren't really hungry, the desire to take that nasty pink stuff isn't there. You also can't drink or eat right before taking it, so you end up waiting 1.5 hrs to eat! DH is off today (was on call last night). You know, he never bitches about working all the time? He will say stuff like "I am getting too old to work all night". But never bitch and moan (like I probably would, when the beeper goes off). Eva, he's not really the low man on the pole, it's just that they put their vacation schedules in a year in advance. We aren't real big on taking vacations when every other person in America is. Places are crowded, hard to get flights, etc. We like to travel on down times. He also tends to take call on the Christian and Jewish holidays (being the only one who is Muslim; non-practicing, but not practicing the others either ). Not always, but with frequency. It usually works out to his favor, as those holidays are not very busy (none of the other specialists wants to work- so they don't schedule cases unless it is an emergency. It's funny too b/c not just the holiday but +/- a day or so!!!) I need to get some work done- will CB in a little bit. Laura

Cheri~ Will need to check your thyroid and parathyroid hormones. Can be a sign of a parathyroid disorder or tumor. I am a firm believer though in repeating a blood test when abnormal (those machines can be wrong or not calibrated correctly). If it is barely elevated- prob nothing to be concerned with. I would definitely get this checked though. Let me know- very interesting. Janet~ you are soooooooooo right about the mental muscle. Of course I know all this stuff in theory but it is putting it to practice. I have been making good food choices but I need to get my ass back in the gym as soon as I feel better. I am feeling 100% better tonight than I did Sat. night. Your clothes sound great! WTG on the deals. : ) ok guys.. nite nite. TTYL... hasta manana!!! Laura

Linda~ Holy canoli you had me laughing! If he runs off you get a fireplace..LMAO! And I hear you guys on the entertainment centers! But they don't get better when you get a "flatscreen". When we bought our first house DH wanted his 50" LCD. He found a center that would "contain" it (and I use that word loosely). This thing must be 11 ft high and 10 ft wide- and the depth is so big, you'd never know it was for a flatscreen!!! I think my house in the peace corps was smaller than that thing. I tried to talk him into putting it on the wall, but then you need a place for the satellite box, DVR, Blue Ray, XBox, PlayStation, Wii, Stereo! (He did have a point there!) Sounds like you had a good weekend. Glad to hear it. : ) Laura

Hey guys~ What a difference a day makes. I am feeling a LOT better. Yesterday I had a nice long talk with my surgeon. I paged him and he called me back. His gut feeling (no pun intended) is that it is just esophagitis and gastritis. Probably started with the last fill and then this virus with the vomiting episodes was the clincher. So basically the advice is: all the stuff Cheri said (thanks for listing- you saved me a lot of time), continue the prilosec two times a day for a couple weeks and added Carafate suspension (a prescription esophagus/stomach coating you take one hour before meals and before bed). He said it really doesn't matter warm/cold food/fluids- basically do whatever feels better. Now, he feels very comfortable doing this for a week or so and seeing how I do b/c it is the treatment if I had a barium swallow or endoscopy that showed an ulcer. He doesn't think the band has slipped (though can't be sure of course) but my symptoms do not suggest it. Good news. I have had two doses of the Carafate and I feel a lot better. Cheri, I have to tell you- your note about the chocolate REALLY resonated with me. Yesterday when I wasn't eating, I took a spoonful of DH's cake's icing. It felt like a hot poker going down! I have NEVER EVER EVER IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE had problems eating chocolate!!! I have always had a stomach made of iron! Holy cow. Who was it that was talking about not trying to let the band do all the work? Someone mentioned this. It's so true. Although I know where my "sweet spot" is, I doubt I will go that tight again. I think just having some restriction we should be able to do this. Some stomachs cannot handle the restriction for long periods of time. The acid can eat through your stomach. Nelson is fine. Had the one bout of diarrhea and was better. and I am sure now it was caused by too much chocolate birthday cake. My Dad had a procedure done today to see if he could get his nephrostomy tube out. Negative. They said the urine wasn't flowing good enough down to the ureter just yet. He was really bummed. Nels and I will be going on Wed to see them. DH is on call all Easter weekend and gets to stay home. Julie~ hope you are feeling better this morning. HUGS. Thanks for thinking of me. HI to everyone else~ will cbl, gotta get some work done. peasout... Laura

HELP... am freaking out! I had 2.4cc out and I am still having gurgling and pain! I didn't even eat anything solid. This a.m. I decided to get rehydrated. I drank 16 oz of water before coffee. one coffee with cream and sugar. then a 2nd bottle of water. (drank water over 30 min period or so). Then around noon I had a cup of 1% milk. I had 1/2 cup dry cereal with milk (let is get a little soft) and after 10 min or so got HORRIBLE pain. uuugghhhh. I am hoping it calms down. If not, I know the drill (although have never had to do it)... barium swallow, endoscopy, etc... I just pray my band hasn't slipped and that this is just swelling. But I have been on liquids (with a couple yogurts) since vomiting wed. morning! should have calmed down by now! I have a 3K deductible and just really dont want to get any of this done. Not even sure if insurance will pay- since they didn't pay for my band. Does anyone know??? I usually am calm person and starting to freak out.

Good Morning~ Well, I had an eventful afternoon yesterday. I realized in the afternoon that I hadn't even had 16 oz. of fluid to drink. Around noon I had lost my voice (laryngitis) and was having pain with swallowing water. I tried to eat some yogurt, then cottage cheese- but had pain and they made me cough/heartburn/pain. DH saw how much misery I was in and said "You need an emergency unfill!" I had 2cc taken out. Believe it or not, even with a total of 2.4cc I am still semi tight! I can now drink water without pain. I had a yogurt. I am going to wait until later to try anything solid. Whatever bug I have, along with the vomiting, TOM not wanting to visit (PMS Central), post nasal drip, etc... has my stoma so swollen. I feel like a limp dishrag. The clincher is I am down to 213. I know it's not AT ALL a good way to get there, but a small part of me was so happy to see that number. Sick, I know. urrrgghhhh. Now on to better things: Great~ LOVE LOVE LOVE the wedding pics! Your DD's dress is amazing! You were both just gorgeous! Julie~ Glad your cold is better. Let's get that neck better now! Apples~Glad the weather is improving! I know you will be happy to be back at the lake. We miss you on those weekends, but understand your happiness is more important. : ) Janet~Where are you? Arlene~Congrats on the weight loss. I completely understand the good feeling. You're doing a great job. Jodi~ Hope your day is going well. : ) ok guys.. I will CBL, Nels has this stomach bug now. OMW... peasout... Laura PS. I updated my signature and didn't add that many characters (just the unfill) and took out the note about Janet and Apples, and it wouldn't let me save it! Too many characters. rrrrggghhhhhhhhh.

Good morning sunshines~ Finally, starting to feel a little better. Golly gee this was a tough week. Only regret, wish I had gotten a tiny bit more of an unfill. yep, I am still gurgling and I am still on liquids! I decided to give it one more day, since I am kind of on a roll. Last night I had a moment of weakness and ate 5 of those mini ritz crackers with cheese in them (whole packet is 140 cal, has 15 crackers in it)- and they gave me the WORST heartburn and cough. So, am feeling that my whole system is just irritated and messed up. As Apples said- it can take days to calm down. urrrgghhh! Still have the diarrhea, had 5 immodium yest. and the max is supposed to be 4! I am wondering if I have norovirus or something from the Thai food I had on Tuesday (which is when this whole thing started). Gross to think about fecal contamination. I am supposed to take Nelson to a birthday party today. I think I will load up on the immodium and go. Apples~WTG on the closets. I miss doing that. Here in FL it's usually just two seasons summer/a few warm things. Although this year it has been unseasonably cold. But changes day to day that there is no time to switch closets. Have a good day with your fake GD. Janet~ hugs on the bros house. I can only imagine how tough that is. congrats on the contacts. I remember when I went from glasses (for distance) to contacts- it changed my life. Linda~I am just so proud of you and your progress. You are such an inspiration. Glad to see you back and posting more. Great~How you doing girl?! We are all thinking of you! Julie~ Glad you got some answers. Now, plan B and we can at least feel in control again! Arlene~ I hear ya girl! Liquids are tough! You are doing great! Hang in there! Cheri~ sorry to hear about your neck pain. Feel better soon. Stop cleaning! Whoever else I missed.. sorry. : ) Time to get on with my day! Peasout... Laura

Morning everyone. It would be a stretch for me to say good morning. SIGH, I just plain don't feel good. Watery diarrhea continues. Vomited stopped but I feel like there is a lump in my stomach. Every time I sip water even, it takes so much effort to swallow it. When I take a bite of anything, I was feeling nauseous immediately. My doc is in surgery all day on Fridays. I usually have him do all my fills, but beggars can't be choosey. The nurse recommended removing all the last two fills. She said since I was tight after the last fill, before I even got sick, that I am swollen way past .2cc being what I will be ok with. The gave me a lecture on putting up with the reflux symptoms and told me all the bad things that can occur. (all of which I knew but was ignoring). So..... take home message... IF YOU ARE TOO TIGHT...... if you have pain when swallowing first few bites of hard food, if you have reflux ANYTIME, but especially when you lie down, if you get retractable hiccups after eating, or cough a lot.... GET IT CHECKED or HAVE AN UN-FILL. I have now an esophogitis and likely gastritis especially around the stoma. They are having me bump my prilosec to twice a day for 5 days and sticking to liquids x 2 days... and then for 5 days only mild foods. Crossing fingers and hope this helps. I weighed 216 on their scales and I had drank a 16 oz water this morning. My scale showed 218. Theirs is always 2 under mine. So, we'll see what tomorrow shows. I hope I start feeling better. For two days I had maybe 500 cal each day. Feeling weak a little. Hi to everyone. Lori, hope the wedding is fabulous!!! HUGS to everyone else... Peasout.. Laura

Hi guys. I am still sick. This has been one hell of a stomach flu! I had to have a shot of Zofran last night to stop vomiting. The perks of having a hubby with anti-nausea medication always in his pockets! What a way to lose weight! Down one more pound. OMW. I feel so bad b/c today is DH's birthday. We are supposed to go to Benihana (Japanese where they cook in front of you). Nels is soooooo looking forward to it. I might go and just try to have soup. Hate to be the party pooper. Thanks for all the well wishes. I can feel the love. Julie~ Good luck today! LONG day. I pray you get some answers. Janet~ I love the pure protein as well. We do the bars. I have tried the powder but not the premixed. I will have to get that the next time I am at Walmart. You guys know I am a fan of protein drinks. I do at least one a day- usually at breakfast. Lori~ I agree with everyone! way to go on no no no. Dog can stay in the kennel for a couple days. Eva~ WTG on weight! You are doing great. As soon as I can drink fluids, I will likely be back up. Still was nice to see the 215 on the scale, which I haven't seen for 10 years. I FEEL the onderland experience getting closer and closer. Meredith~ Glad you got a slight unfill. I have been contemplating that. It is hard to get to that sweet spot. Now that I am past the one year I have to pay $$ for fills. I hope it doesn't make me less likely to get one when I need it. Wonder if they will charge the same for an unfill? I begged DH to "tap" it and he refused. I wish I had the nerve to do it myself, but I am a chicken. Giving myself a shot is one thing, but the port is too much. ok girls, I will CBL. At least I am not running to the toilet like yesterday! peasout.. Laura
-
I have a stomach flu (or other GI virus)! I was up ALL night last night with diarrhea (at least 25 times) The ONLY positive thing about this is the scale read 216 this morning! (just dehydration). I am on clear liquids only for the day- giving my gut a rest. uggghhhhh. misery. Must have picked up something Tuesday when I volunteered at the school... cuz last night everything I ate- DH ate and he's fine. Gotta go! (geez)
-
quick fly by... i am soooo tired i have to get to bed. yawn... Meredith~hi honey! You are doing fabulous! WTG Julie~I am not sure who is more excited me or you! WOOOHOOOOOOOOO finally we can figure out what is the problem and then get a plan of action! Once you get the report and after you talk to your drs... if you want me/DH to review would be happy to. HUG: ) Apples~have a good trip- so nice of you to help your friend out. I remember going to those foo foo salons when I was 190ish and was like a 16/18 and boy they embarrassed this bride to be! I cried for HOURS after I left. I left that famous street of bridal shop and went to Macy's where I was treated like a princess. I ended up finding the most beautiful Tomasina. She is a Greek designer and she totally custom made my size 18 dress! I can't believe it's still on the web site! TOMASINA Style #1246 Went out to Long Horn Steakhouse after TKD and bookstore school event with DH and Nels. I got stuck on a bite of lobster. ugghhhh. Now am having some killer reflux. Took extra prilosec, 4 doses of maalox, 8 xxtums. finally feeling better. No more antihistamines or sudafed for this one.. they make me tight! Might need to go get that slight unfill. ughhh. More in the morning chickedees. HUGGGGGGGGGGGGS xoxo peas
-
Melissa- soooo glad u went for an unfill. I have been thinking of doing the same the last 4 days. If I eat after 7, then I have reflux too. It has been a great negative reinforcement. After 1 night of being up all night with heartburn- I am not snacking @ night anymore. I am tight but can't eat too much so I like that. Apples- I love malt vinegar too. (Always have though) esp on fish. Since banding I love soups ans stews- never was a fan before. I always liked yogurt but now love it. Soynuts are new- love them. Also tofu and soymilk. Carline- cbl...peas

Good morning girls. Zippety doo dah! I was singing that song yesterday and couldn't remember the lyrics (and Nels was trying to sing along with me)~ So I had to look at up the lyrics and now have Louis Armstrong version CARVED in my head! I slept sooo good last night! That is the first in a long time! No vertigo, no neck cricks, no getting up to pee (THE WHOLE NIGHT)... just sleep sleep sleep. woohoo! I am up 3 lbs and I have been sooooo good this weekend. So I know it's not FAT at least. But goodness gracious where does one hide 3 lbs of water? Wiki fact: 1 gallon = 8 lbs I think uncle TOM should be visiting soon. Perhaps that explains the water conservation. ; ) Little bit of a fly by.......... will CBL. peas
-
Good afternoon guys~ Apples~ Congrats on the baby stone! : ) Should have called me, DH could have popped in an epidural before you popped it out! Hope you are feeling back to normal soon. Janet~ WTG on the calories. Glad you had fun with your uncle. Jodi~ I have not personally used the Purity supplement. Are you talking about the purity organic juice? Our nutritionist was talking about them- have to be careful as some of them have up to 120 cal for 8 oz serving and the bottle is 2 servings. One gal was having two "bottles" a day and didn't realize she was having almost 500 cal a day with this juice. They do have a powder, is that the one you are talking about? Only 60 cal/serving. I drink the little V8 juices (low sodium)- usually one a day. Julie~ I hope you feel better soon. At my last support group meeting we talked about scales. They said if you are getting diff weights within seconds of each other- then change your batteries- they might be low. If it always does that, then take weight 3 times and take the average. ALEAH~ yeah- normal to be sore after PB. Agree with all the advice. Do liquids for a day or so and if pain continues or PB continues then go see your doc. Sometimes after vomiting, you will get really swollen and it takes a few days to go down. I cannot do any pasta unless it's just a little in a soup or something. Judy~ ROFLMAO at the seeing eye dog. Glad you had fun at the sunfest. I wish we had a golf cart. Just feel silly buying one when we don't golf. ; ) I am exhausted. DH and I took Nels to a birthday party today. Was strange they had it on a Sunday at 11am. Surprised but there were tons of people there. He had a good time. I didn't eat b/c they had pizza, sandwiches and salad. I just wasn't in the mood to PB in public. I was a little surprised that NO ONE noticed that I wasn't eating anything. I will attach a couple pics of my exciting life! We need to find a baby sitter! We fired ours in Dec. (b/c she double booked for our Christmas party- and took the other job over us!) and haven't had a date night since. Not good. My folks used to come visit every 3 weekends or so (before dad got sick) and they always made us go out one night. I miss it and them. Yest Nels swam in the jacuzzi yesterday. It was heated but pool was still too cold to get in. After the party we went to the local go kart place. Fun stuff! woohoooooo. OK girls... will talk to you guys tomorrow. Peasout.. Laura

Good morning chickies~ It has been relatively quiet on here for the last day or so. When I can catch up in a few minutes, you know people are busy! Nels slept until 7:50, that is the latest I have slept in a long time! Time change and cool weather I guess. In the 50s in the morning and supposed to be 75 today. Last night we saw The Blind Side. It was good, parts were a tear jerker, but.... I didn't really see the Oscar performance. Maybe all the hype made it that way? Yesterday @ Nels' school was a Father's Tea. The kids prepared little finger foods (gross- who wants to eat food that 4-6 year olds have made with their snotty fingers?!lol) and sang songs for the Dads. They also painted some pencil holder pottery as gifts. DH was SUPPOSED to go from 9-11 and then leave. Ahem, but guess who left with their child?! He knew better then to come home and ruin my morning off (first morning in forever I didn't take him to school). Then he took him to Chuckie Cheese for lunch and to play! DH turned on the pool heater yesterday. With the 50s last night, probably only the jacuzzi is hot. Judy~WTG on going out, sorry he was a dud. I remember those kind of dates <yawn>. If there is no chemistry in the first 15 min, then you kind of know. But at least a free meal with no PB included! : ) Janet~ I am with you on RR. Everything is greasy and gross IMHO. makes you feel like not even wasting your calories b/c it's not even that good.l WTG on making a healthy choice. So proud of you for going to the gym. SIGH. Wish I could say the same. Julie~ Have fun shopping with DH. : ) Your DD is so lucky to have you! Have you told her lately? Are you anywhere near the river? That flooding is so scary. LadyCousa~ WTG on 3 movies without popcorn! Did you bring healthy snack with you? Last couple times I went I had popcorn. So we watched illegal movie on the computer last night. : ) Great~ I have a Toyota Sequoia and LOVE IT. Ask the girls (and Eva's husband) how nicely 7 of us fit in Orlando! The year on mine was without any problems. Since we have had my car 2005, I have had zero problems with it. Would buy it again in a heart beat. Prob. great deal right now..LOL. Esp. one that has been recalled. : ) Apples~ How's the deck coming along? What else on tap for the weekend? Eva~ Where art thou? I ordered a Lego set on Amazon the other day. Supposed to have 200 pieces- it arrived with duct tape closing it. They sent a USED one! Had only 20 pieces! gross. Yesterday afternoon DH called and told them. FEDEX just delivered a new one 5 min ago! Gotta hand it to them, that's good customer service. I had a couple HUNGRY days this week and had gone back up to 222. Then last two days was really good. Back down and actually at 218 today. I think I will change my ticker before I give myself permission to pop up again. Hope everyone has a beautiful Saturday. I will be around and will CBL. HUGS to everyone. peasout.. Laura

I think that was a typo kiddo.... not 377!!! : ) And trust it!!! CONGRATS! Scales usually don't lie, unless they are over.
