So it looks like i will be having surgery on the 31st of march. Can you elaborate on what you feel, are you happy; would you do it again?

THIS IS MY FIRST ENTRY INTO MY BLOG. I AM A 36 YEAR OLD MALE FROM VIRGINIA. I AM 6'1" AND WEIGH 372 AS IT STANDS TODAY. I AM HOPING TO HAVE THE SURGERY IN MARCH; BUT I AM CONCERNED WITH THE STORIES OF PEOPLE HAVING COMPLICATIONS WITH INFECTIONS IN THE INCISION SITES. I AM DOING THIS FOR MY 5 MONTH OLD SON, MY WIFE AND OF COURSE MYSELF. ANY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ON THIS SUBJECT TO EASE MY MIND WOULD BE HELPFUL... JERRY:eek:

I am due for the surgery in March. If any of you veterans out there had a bit of advice that they felt would have helped them before their big day, please, please let me know.
