I am very happy with the band. I have lost 88 pounds and I've been doing great. I have had a few issues lately, and may have a slip, but I'll worry about that if the test comes out that way. I am a self pay, so it will suck if I need another surgery, but I will do it anyway if needed. My surgery wasn't a big problem. It went well, and I didn't have too much pain after. I went back to work before the one week point, but I have a desk job, so that does play a part. I think the pain in the left shoulder was the worst thing right after surgery, but a heating pad and gas meds will keep it under control. I will tell you, I would have never been able to lose this weight without the band. It's not easy - it's just the tool that does the job if you use it right - but it does work.
