kiz how did they diagnose that you had a leak? My doc said that he put 4 cc's in last time and when i went back in for a fill he said that there were only 3cc's. I asked how? why? he said that possibly it could have evaporated or that it came out after he did the fill?? I have seen where they do a barium test and wondering if he should have done this on me.

Just read your blog about getting thrush. I went to the dr. today and I have thrush too. I have never ever had it. I am finding that the internet is saying it can be common with WLS? Did your dr. explain why? I am just curious. How long did it take to go away once you started on meds?

Hi Mary. Im Rachel. I am in P'cola too. I was banded 03/17/09 by Dr. Nye. I am jealous of your WL, but happy for you. Mine has not been that great. It was at first- the pre-op diet and right after. I lost 30 lbs total but no fills yet and I am gaining back---I see Dr. Nye on Monday so hopefully he will fill my band then...Congrats on the weight loss. WTG!!

How is everyone doing? I am doing okay. I went back to work yesterday. I did okay --just pretty sore by the time I get home. To me the pain is right around the port area. It feels like side splits like I used to get when running. Just wanted to see how everyone else banded on the 17th was doing. Hope you all are well....Take Care...Rachel

I'm doing pretty good. I took last week off of work, and I return Monday. I still have port pain but I'm doing pretty good. How about you?
