  1. 32 pounds??? wow thats an awful lot being that u are starting off at 285....i was 10 pounds heavier than u at my consultation...i really dont understand why they put u on a diet...when the reason y u want the surgery is bcuz diets haven't been working...makes no sense...

  2. u looking reaaaaalllllllll goooooood 2!!!!!!!!! yes, i noly eat a 1/2 cup of food 3xs a day...i finally started going to the gym...so i've added a hand full of mixed nuts to eat after my lunch...

  3. my mom isn't the best cook to say the least....she often expirements with new recipes and aaaaaaa well....last night she served one to my son...he took 3 bites of it and said he was full...she said...u can't b full u only took 3 bites...he said...aaa-huh...i have a lap band on tonight!!!!!:biggrin::sad:

  7. for about the first week i did...then i started to walk a 1/2 mile...i would add a 1/2 to a mile every 3 to 4 weeks...once i got to about 180 i started to run...i'm able to walk/run 6-7 miles now...i do the stairmaster at the gym for 30 mins...then i do the elyptical for 30 minutes and run on the treadmill for an hour...i wasnt able to exercise like this in the begining...i had to work myself up to it...but i always add to my routine once i feel my body getting use to it...

  8. i just started going to the gym...i've only been going for a week now...prior to the gym all my exercise was cardio and i started the day i came home from the hospital

  9. my hair loss was due to my weightloss...not really the band...but the weight loss

  10. i actually don't know if its the pre-natal vitamins that have helped or the biotin....i take both...all i know is one of them is working...lol....i take the biotin in pill form...i take 5000 mgs...most doctors recommend 2500mgs...but i was losing a ton of hair!!!!!!!!! i was never a big soda drinker...i'm an iced tea junkie...and have always used equal to sweeten it...so i didnt have to change that habit..i also love crystal lite on the goes and they come in a variety of flavors...

  11. i can't get over u!!!!!!! i keep looking at ur b4 and after's....look at u!!!!!! absolutely gorgeous!!!!!! don't worry about ur hair...i know its devestating...i went throught it to...i took biotin AND pre-natal pills...take both....u may have to wear slicked back ponytails for a little while to hide it...but it does grow back...i promise!!!!

  12. no, i've never used a dvd....i have another friend that loves working out to dvd's...all my walking-running has been outside...

  13. when i went to my 1st consultation; my surgeon said "lets get u down to 146"...i said "146????....sure ur right"!!!!! now i'm thinking huuuummmmm 146??????? lol

  16. i'm kind of feeling like i'm getting obessed with getting smaller and smaller and smaller...i keep changing my goal...1st it was just to b in a size 12...did that...then 165...did that...then 160...almost there...now i feel when i get to 155...i'm going to say 150...so i dont know how it feels to b 10 pounds away...bcuz everytime i get there...i change it...my friend had a bypass on 5/6...she is having a really hard time getting motivated to exercise...i wish i had a secret for motivation...but i don't:-(...i have heard that if u can exercise size for 21 days straight...it will become a habit.

  19. 15 already?????????!!!!!!!!!!! yeah u'll be at goal in no time!!!!!! i'm good..i finally started going to the gym this week...and i'm already addicted...lol...i'm going to my regular dr. on the 28th...i'll finally know how much i exactly weight...i'm hoping i made it to my 1st goal in under 10 months...

  20. i just started the gym this week...i think i've already become an addict...lol...its crazy...most people go to the gym to hook up..i'm one of the few women that is there to actually get my exercise on...instead of walking around trying to look cute!!!! lol
