as u should...not only should u feel it...let me tell u.....u look it!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. i've been told i'm addicted to the gym too...i don't like the word addicted...i say i'm committed!!!!!!!!! yeah...committed to my body and health...as far as the body bug...i don't know if i believe any of those calorie counters are on target...i think its more of an estimate...
  4. i made it!!!!!!!!!! i did it!!!!!!!!!!!! i lost 141 pounds in a year!!!!!!!!!! starting weight 296...current weight 158.4...size 6.....i lost tons and gained so much mentally and physically!!!!!!!!!! i'm no different then any of u!!!!!!!! it feels sooooooooooooo good ...words can't even explain...if i could put u in my body for 2 minutes to let u feel this natural high ...i would...but i would take it right back...lol...my advice...start immediately!!!!!!!!! do this...go big and get it done!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. there are a lot of success stories...most people that are on here r having problems and the ones that have succeeded are just living a normal day to day healthy life...not really needing any type of support...i'm on here to help any1 that needs it (including you)...its by far a walk in the park...but can be made a little simpler if u stay focused on the end result and not so much on the bumps in the road....

  8. GO ON, GURLLLLLLLL!!!:thumbup: Im pretty impressed! I wish that I had as much enthusiasm as you about working out! I keep making excuses! UGHHHH!!! I usually do 30 mins on treadmill at 3.5 or higher then hip and thigh adductur (sp?) and at least 100 crunches on the machine and then arm curls and chest pulls. ur impressed with me?????? i'm impressed with u!!!!!!!!! all the weight training ur doing is whats going to make ur body look nice and toned when everything is said...done and lost...i haven't even started to weight train yet...all i've done is cardio...my stitches from my tuck come out on 10/19 and my dad paid for a personal trainer...so hopefully i'll get to be like u!!!!!!!! maybe ur not losing bcuz ur building muscle...my sister has an awesome body and people are always surprised at how much she weights...but she is all muscle and in a size 4...(no surgery)...if ur losing inches ..ur probably gaining muscle which well eventually start burning fat...
  9. I noticed you mentioned you burn up to 1300 calories a day. How do you keep track of this? I always get overwhelmed counting how many calories I'm burning. Please explain. I also think that it's easier for a man to lose weight then a woman. Do you think that could be the reason why you lost so much weight? In any case congratulations on your weight loss. I'm not banded yet but hope to be sometime soon. Thanks. i'm NOT a man....i'm a woman....i wear a body bug that i bought at 24 hour fitness and it keeps track of how many calories i burn.
  10. i just wanted to say i totally respect you for exercising with ur health condition...there r plenty of healthy people that won't lift a finger...i hope the band starts to work 4 u....kudos on the exercising!!!!!!! u deserve a lot of credit!!!!!:eek:
  11. i did have a panniculectomy and a mini tummy tuck on august 17th...i had a lot of skin hanging from my lower stomach...my arms are okay...im going to have a thigh lift in janurary....i'm not a fan of plastic surgery at all...not looking 4-ward 2 it at all....:-(

  12. u look so good!!!!!!!!!!!! actually u look GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! up in the gym just working on ur fitness...:-)....thats what i'm talking about!!!!!!!!!
  13. i'm not a guy...i'm a 158 pound woman.....and there is nothing easy about losing that much weight in a year for a man or woman....
  14. really...really...really....really cute reason...:-)

  19. i only counted my calories in the begining...i eat out of these bowls that glad makes...they measure out to b a 1/2 cup of food...u can buy them at wal-mart or target...there is pix of them posted on my page...i eat all my meals out of those bowls...if it doesnt fit i don't eat it...so i honestly don't know how many calories i take in..i know i burn off around 1200-1300 when i exercise...for the 1st 9 months after surgery i strictly power walked and eventually was able to jog...i added to my routine once a month...making it longer and longer...i took most of my weight off in the first 9 months...in my 10th month i joined the gym...on mondays...tuesdays and thursdays i do the elyptical for 30 minutes and the rotating stairs for 55 minutes...on friday...saturday and sunday...i do the elyptical for 30 mins...rotating stairs for 55 mins and the treadmill for another 30 mins...i also take an occassional spin class on sundays...i take wednesdays off...i'm not able to weight train until my stitches come out from my tummy tuck...i no longer exercise to lose weight...i exercise to maintain and will start to weight train to have a nice body...i don't think i will get to have a beautiful body...but i will settle for nice....
  20. i think parrothead kathy hit the nail on the head...i have no clue how many cc's are in my band...the right amount??...lol...i made it to goal after 6 fills...but i consider my sweet spot to be where i can eat a 1/2 cup of food and stay satisfied for 4 to 5 hours...that is proper restriction in my book...
