Thanks for posting you guys. I really appreciate your support. Funny, I haven't looked at it like I am almost there. I guess if I was still at the beginning it would seem that way to me. Thanks for reminding me. Good luck to you! The band is one of the best choices I have ever made in my life. I wish you great success. I to have been thinking about the pouch test. Tomorrow is my Bday and then my husband's right after, so I thought I would wait until after that. Let me know how that works for you. I am really interested in knowing.

You're not alone. I have only lost about 15 lbs in the last 10 months. I also started off great, then slowed way down. Now I have just stopped. I am eating too much, and need a fill. Things keep coming up that take my PTO time. They want to see me for a Dr's appt. before I get a fill, so i need time off for both. I can't manage it just now. Wish I had more will power. I guess if I did, I wouldn't have needed the band in the first place. I'll just keep trying. I am really happy with what I have lost so far, I just want to lose more.

I can get a fill at any time. I have been using all of my PTO time from work for vacation. So I have no time to take off for medical. I really needed vacation time this year. I also, really need a fill.
-
Still the same. I know I am not eating as well as I was. My fault. i really need that fill.
-
Same again this week. Yikes! Am I ever going to lose another pound?
-
There finicky alright. For a year I could eat anything. At exactly one year I started having problems with bread and chicken. Also, I have to take it really slow in the morning. How weird is that after one year. I don't get it but now I think I am like everyone else.
-
So glad to see you guys here. My loss is very slow, but I know it is my own fault. I need a fill and have no time to take off work. I certainly cannot eat as much as I could before, however it seems to me, at this point, it is down to the food choice issue. Sometimes I make good choices, and sometimes I don't.. Most of the time I do. I have just come to that point where it is not as easy as it was and I have to work harder at it. One thing for sure, I am so glad I have the band. I will never have regrets about that. I have lost 54 lbs. That's amazing. I just want to loose more and I will.

Same this week. I guess everyone has either met their goal or lost interest in this site. Too bad! I have really appreciated all of the support over the last year and one half. Keep up the good work everyone. Continued success to you!

Today I weigh 158.4. Exactly what I weighed on May 25th just before I went on vacation. I am not so sure eating exactly what I wanted for two weeks is worth two months of struggling to get back where I was. Something to think about. Now maybe I can start moving forward again. Have a good week!

Good for you! All of those little thing really add up and make a huge difference.:tt2:

Walking again and hopeing to get things moving in the right direction. I just cannot take time off for a fill yet. I'll just keep trying. I am always going to try to get to my original goal. It will happen sooner or later.

OH MY! I am so happy for you. CONGRATULATIONS! Don't forget us now. We need your support. You and John are the leaders.

Still not back to where I was before vacation but I am soooo close. I will keep trying and onward. Hang in there everyone!

Getting very close to where I was before vacation. I am thinking of doing the 5 day pouch test just for giggles. I know I need a fill, but used every minute of PTO for vacation. Soon I hope. I am still having times when food doesn't want to go down, and other times I could eat 3 pieces of pizza and a taco. I just don't get it. Along with the fill I need to talk to my coach at the bariatric center. When I do have the fill, they always xray first then fill using fluoroscopy. If anything is wrong they can see it. have a good week everyon! That is if anyone is left out there.

Still up a couple of lbs. Trying to get back to where I was before vacation. Hang in there everyone!

Ann you're amazing. at this point I am finding it hard to do anything but walk. Pushing 60 is not as easy as it was even ten years ago. John I'm glad you had such a good time with your family. I just went home to CA a couple of weeks ago. I saw family in Bakersfield and Long Beach and (graduation with honors for oldest grandaugher) and about a million friends on Catalina Island where we had lived for 16 years. Boy, was it nice to hear all of the "you look great" comments. I did however pick up a couple of lbs. Now I will struggle to get that back off. I am getting back to my normal diet so it will go little by little. Hang in there everyone! Take care

Still having to take stool softners everyday no matter what I eat, or how much. Good to hear from you John.

Up a bit after vacation. I'm not suprised. I'm with you Ann. Where is everyone?. I know I still need your support. I haven't had a fill since just before Christmas so I was going to schedule one when I got home from vacation. Now I am not sure and need advice. I noticed the last month that I am having some trouble with food going down real slow and I have to wait to take another bite. The strange thing is I can eat way to much in the evening if I want to. I mean way, way to much. Yesterday morning I had my first experience with something coming back up. Boy, that is not fun at all. Fill or not to fill? I am really unsure. I have been so trouble free, other than fills, I have not seen the Dr. They do want to see me before another fill. I guess that is a good idea. What do you guys think about the band acting different after a year?

CONGRATULATIONS Mamadot. What a success story. The Band is an amazing tool. But the credit goes to the individual who decides to make a change in their life and sticks to it. Weird about the chocolate. I never ate it everyday. Now I am hooked on the Hershey dark choc. mini bar. I only eat one at a time, but if I have them, I will eat one every night. What's up with this? Congratulations again to all of the Mayobanditos! -
159.0 little by little. I'll take it. Have a good week everyone!

Your guys are really amazing!!!!! -
Finally made it out of the 160's. 159.6. I haven't had a fill since before Christmas and I am sure I need one. I had to save every minute of time for vacation, but I will have one when I return and can spare a few hours from work. Have a good week everyone!
