Glad you are here !!!! I live in Clewiston just north of you. I had my surgery last week and I LOVE IT !!! Good luck with insurance hopefully something will come through for you

I had my surgery last week too on the 11th. Today was my first mushie. eggs have never tasted so good.... My dietician says scrambled eggs mashed potatoes puddings cottage cheese refried Beans Anything really that can be smushed well with a fork. Keep up the good work !!!!!

Hey Tif, You have come to the perfect place to get information. Before my surgery I read everything on here and it made everything much easier for me. I have found the chat line to be a great help for me too. Everyone there is more than willing to answer any questions you may have. They have encouraged me all along the way. Good Luck with insurance stay on top of them. Congrats on your loss so far keep up the great work.

Same here with working on the computer all day. Actually I should be working now... At home I like to go on and just have fun, no brain power needed. LBT and Myspace are like a stress releaver for me. Today has been great 6 days post surgery and feeling great. Other than the very large bruise on my belly and the slight soreness getting up and down no problems !!!!

Doing great. How are you today ? I went to work on Monday and today I am finally getting a minute to sign on and see how everyone is. Lastnight I was toooo tired to chat I went straight to bed. I hope to be on tonight. See ya there !!!! Have a blessed day .

Hi Ikerry, Congrats !!!! I was banded on the 11th. I only had 1 really bad night ( 12th ) after that like you things have been smooth sailing. I am even back to work. Keep up the good work and keep feeling good. -
It is so hard to believe that this time next week I will be BANDED !!!!! Doing okay on my preop, loosing 23 lbs so far. My only fear is the liver shrinking issue. Reading restlessminkeys story has kept me going. Thanks to all my chat friends for keeping me inspired and laughing. I LOVE this site, it has answered so many of my questions and calmed all my fears about this surgery. Thanks to everyone and God Bless

Hey Ladies !!!!! Today is pre-op at the hospital. I get my surgery time today !!!! I am still so excited. Wednesday can't get here quick enough. I know I'll be sore and have to bounce back after surgery but I am ready to get to my "sweet spot" fill and start seeing results. I know sometimes it takes a few fills to get there but I am so so ready. I am excited I have new friends that will be on this exciting jorney with me. I am on day 2 of two weeks. I bought the Unjury, choc,van & chicken soup. The choc & van are good. The Chicken soup gave me the same reaction as you with the first teaspoon. I am sticking with the choc & van. Not sure how it would be with rice milk. Happy Journey !!!!1 -

I'm so glad you started this thread. I hung the mom's out for vacation sign in the kitchen this morning. Everyone is on their own for the next 2 weeks. I am offically on my 2 ptotein drinks and a healthy chioce meal for dinner today. So far so good. I am still so excited about my surgery. March 11th can't get here quick enough. I have banned everyone with the sniffles away from my office. I don't want to take any chances at catching a cold and delaying anything. -

Hi Everyone, I have finally figured out how all this works. I am a slow learner . I am so excited this site is availible. I have been on the chat area a few times and the people there have been GREAT. I started my journey in January, and will be banded March 11th. I am so over joyed to have this tool and the opportunity to have it. I have always put my family first and me second. I guess all moms do that. But now I am doing a me thing, and I can't wait. I start my 2 weeks of protein drinks Monday. Just counting the days till surgery. I am a terrible waiter and am trying to keep myself busy, busy, busy.... Thanks for all the information everyone has put out there it has been very helpful. Well gotta run, I am at work :biggrin:....
