I have lost 20 lbs and holding but I am shedding inches. I now wear 38 size pants down from 42 and large shirts down from xx and sometimes xxx so all is not lost. We are returning to Monterrey Monday the 26 th to get our fill, hopefull weight loss will start up again. Don't seem to be :hungry: though. Go luck to you

The wife and I were banded the same day, one right after the other. It makes it very easy as we both eat the same things. We are going back to Monterrey the 26th for our first fill. I have lost 20 lb's and 4 inches in my waist. I also am down in the shirt department. I wore xx and sometimes xxx shirts and now I wear large. The wife won't weigh but the old gal is sure looking good.

My wife and I were banded 5/11/2006 at the age of 63. We are doing fine. Drinking lots of water. The swelling has subsided but can tell no difference in the band. Very small amounts of food fill us both. I have noticed that while watching TV at night I want to snack even though I am stuffed. It must be all in the brain. In the past we ate mostly comfort food and now we are finding it is just as comforting to eat right.

You take it wrong, if I have something to say to you or any one, I will say it under my name. Remember what the first three letters in assume are . That's what one becomes when they ass-----ume. You still refuse to name the doctor in Mexico. I am very :suspicious: of you. -
Was banded 5/11/2006 completely off my meds. I was taking 1 500/5 mg glucovance and 1 30 mg Actos in the morning and 1 500/5 glucovance at night. Blood sugar is fluctuating between 95 and 120 after fasting all night. I am able to eat things now that I was not able too before I was banded.

You will not be sorry with your choice Dr. Rumbaut. My wife and I were banded 5/11/2006 by Dr. Rumbaut and could not be happier. Dr Horacio Guajardo came by our room at the hotel and stayed for over an hr. Saturday morning and that evening Dr. Rumbaut came and stayed for at least 1 1/2 hrs. Later Saturday night one of the women doctors came and gave the wife and I a shot to prevent blood clots. The hospital in Monterrey makes the hospitals here in Corpus Christi look like dumps. Much cleaner. I think you have made a good choice. WE will be returning to Monterrey for our fill. papajoe & mama anna -

Hey jane we are doing great Glad to hear things are well with you. We had our first soft meal memorial day. Baked sock eye salmon with baked sweet potato at our daughters. She was amazed at the small amount of food we consumed. Boy was it great. The swelling has gone down but I am still having pain in my left sholder blade area. Not to bad but just enough to annoy. Anna knees don't hurt any longer. There is one side effect to the lap band that I love NO MORE SNORING:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Keep us informed. papajoe & mama anna
