No painful fills yet, but I have a hard time going to get fills too. Not only is it expensive, but I have to drive 3 hours there and 3 more hours back. I'm just worried that I won't have enough fill room to reach my goal since I have a 4cc band and I already have 2.5 in there. Maybe if they stopped filling it so much each time. Who knows. I was wondering how that body bugg worked out. Sad to hear it didn't really help. After about a two month plateau, I'm just feeling *whaaaaa* right now. I'll get over it. Good luck!

I bake my tilapia in tinfoil @350 for 20-30 min, depending on the amount of fish. Before baking, I also season the fish with a tiny amount of butter, lemon juice, old bay, garlic powder and dill. yum.

    just curious

I've got a 4cc band too. I am worried that it will be full before I have lost what I need!

Wow, Colorado! I wish you a speedy recovery! I heard gallstones are a painful, painful thing. Hit a plateau yet again. Like Saundra, it seems I only lose weight right around the fill and then level out. I put a calorie/workout counter ap on my iphone, but it seems the calories per day that are supposed to make me lose a pound a week are too high. Going to reduce them this week and try again. I don't mind slow weight loss, but a month of nothing is ridiculous!

Thanks Saundra and happy 6 months to everyone too! Honestly, I thought I'd be further along than this, but I have to remind myself that it is a slow slope down. Went on vacation to see husband's family for a week and actually lost a pound, even though we ate out at restaurants the whole time. In the past that would be a guaranteed gain. So I guess I can't complain.

I know what you mean. I hit a standstill about every 6 or 7 pounds. It is hard to be patient, but looking at the big picture (pun intended) helps.

Happy 5 months, everyone! Last weekend was my first vacation away from home, and the first time ever that I didn't gain a pound, even though there was so much food everywhere. YAY! :smile2:

How's everyone doing? I am finally able to eat veggies again. I swear I just had the best salad ever, or so it seemed. Never thought I'd actually miss them. Still a slow crawl downward. But even if it seems slow, at least it is downward!

keeping food hot for the whole meal

I have the same problem. I'm constantly sticking my plate in the microwave.

I'll be out of town, so I wanted to wish everyone happy 4 month bandiversary!!! I think I may have had an overfill on fill number two. I lost 6 pounds in the first two weeks, but now I have stalled out again. It seems no matter how small of a bite and how much I chew solids, they don't stay down very well. Eating solids is a little painful, and then more than not, I get the profusive, uncontrollable salivation followed by a trip to the throne room. So I have been falling back on liquids and mushies, thus the plateau. I keep hoping this thing will loosen up a bit.

Wow! Congrats on the weightloss Colorado and Saundra! This 2nd fill is making all the difference in the world now. I need to remember to take my vitamins. Started working out 30 min on the elliptical. Made it three times this week, up from two last week. Good luck with the body bugg. Tell us how that is working for you!

Yep, the doc said I was really due for my second fill, and boy do I feel restriction now. Three bites of soup and I start to gurgle. A couple of sips of juice and I start to gurgle. It goes down ok but it takes quite a while. I'm actually glad they don't want me to eat any solids for a week. The thought actually terrifies me. Maybe the scales will start moving again.
