  1. I had horrific pain and they gave my percocet and hydrocodone. Maybe you should call them, even after hours, to see if they can do something to manage your pain. Good luck! Oh, and for some of us, the pain is terrible.
  2. Chicken broth seemed to fill me up. I used that Campbell chicken noodle soup as broth and I could drink it pretty quickly.

When can I sleep on my stomach?

I was able to sleep on my side when I came home, if I was up on both pain medications. The pain would wake me when it wore off. I hope you are doing better!

    PAIN

Yes, I agree to get something, it's only temporary. I took painkillers for 10 days and started titrating down on day 7. Good luck!

    Stomach pain

    Yes, gallbladder or kidney stones?
  6. Don't do what I did and buy lots of protein powder. I could not stomach whey after surgery and ended up giving it all away! GNC will give you taste samples and I went there after surgery and was able to find a few things. Good luck!
  7. If you follow through again in the future maybe they will prescribe you anti-anxiety meds for the morning of surgery. Surgery may be your key to helping your infertility. Good luck!
  8. I was in horrible pain and it lasted for 10 days, although it got better by a week or so. I'm so glad my Dr gave me plenty of pain medication. I was on it round the clock for at least 5 days. I hope you feel better soon!
  9. Also, you could go back to your RD. go to counseling, support meetings, weight loss groups. Buy a Fitbit and sync to my fitness pal. Tack all your food. Join a gym, walk with a friend. Weight watchers, OA., Tops etc. I wish you well!

    eating whole wheat bread

I have been using the flat tostada. I eat chicken and tuna salad on it. I bought wheat and didn't use it, it spoiled before I could even try it. These tostadas stay good a long time.

    Cpap and sleeve

Grady Cat congrats! I was diagnosed with sleep apnea at the weight of 270 about 15 years ago. I'm at 282 now and I'm hoping in another 30 pounds I can be tested again and see if I can reduce or get off my bi-pap.

    3 periods in 5 weeks

I was told this from my PA as well. I am however post surgical menopause 13 years. I was very emotional and she said it's from stored estrogen in the fat.
  13. If she is not able to urinate at all this could be a kidney problem. It is probably best for her to visit an urgent care to seek an answer. Best of luck!
  14. I did have a herniation in my C6. I had an MRI and co sult with a surgeon. he gave me 3 choices. Wait Shots Surgery I waited and it eventually subsided. I no longer had the numbing and tingling in my fingers. That was 12 years ago. I do have 4 bulging discs in my lower back and have chronic pain. I've lost almost 60 lbs and it has not made a difference. My back is a mess. I'm not sure what my future holds with the pain, but I've been in pain for years.

    No weight loss

Othello, your concern is valid. I stalled for 3 weeks at the same weight. I was so upset to get on the scale and see it hadn't changed. I cried, because it wasnt moving. I'm now losing slow, but have lost 14 more lbs since then. Dont feel afraid to say you are concerned! Best to you!

    Depressed

I went 3 weeks with not a pound lost. I lost so much the first month that my body was probably just adjusting. I've again not lost anything the last 4 days, even though I wear a Fitbit, exercise & track my food. I just have to trust this process. It will all be ok!

    Depressed

Torie, It's early and your weight loss so far is excellent. I know firsthand how you feel. I want it to be faster and I compare myself to other people. I can eat more now and it's scary, but my weight is slowly going down. I know that it will keep going down for you as well. Have faith and give it time. Let us know how you do! My best to you💕

    Less than 24 hrs

Congrats Shanda! Before you know it you will be 3 months post-op like me. Time flies! Best wishes tomorrow! Let us know how you do!!
  19. I've perfect vision my whole life. I'm 54 and in the last 5-7 years I developed an astigmatism out of the blue. I have 20/60 in my left eye now. On top of that I need +2.50 reading glasses to read. Could it maybe be just aging? That's what my eye dr told me. Also, before surgery I would get blurry vision at night. My endo told me it was from my high bs. I hope you find an answer!

    One month post op RNY

I lost really quick the first month. Stalled for 3 weeks and resumed losing. I would say that a pretty good amount of weight lost.

    Late night 2oz snack

I think it's a powdered chocolate peanut butter? I have the peanut butter powder, but have never tried it yet. Curious to know for sure.

    Approved for Surgery :)

It will fly by. Congrats, it's so exciting to start a new healthy life!
  24. Sleevy what is going on? I, too, cried waiting to go into the operating room. It's very scary to make a life changing decision. I had buyers remorse a few times right after surgery. I still have some stomach issues, but a jaded a rough go of it the first month. Best of luck!
  25. Yes, but I'm 54 and depending on your age and capabilities you will do fine. My daughter stayed with me and helped cook for my husband, do laundry etc.
