Hi! Congrats on your new baby!! I was just wondering, I am 2 and a half years into my band and we are considering on having another baby. My main concern is my port, does it hurt when your belly gets big, or when the baby moves around? I've always been sensitive around my port, so it worries me. Can you tell me what was your experience with that? Thank you!!!

Ok, so I had my first fill 3 wks ago and I'm pretty happy with my progress up to that point. But! My Doc wanted to go conservative on my fill, he only did 0.5cc because he worried that he was going to over do it, and he said I was doing very well already. Well, I had noticed increased restriction for about 3-4 days after the fill.. and then BOOM!!! I'm hungry, I can eat quite a bit (not a whole lot, but I've noticed I'm eating more) and I'm getting very anxious. Have I stretched my pouch????? Is this normal, what I'm going through???? Please give me some input. I'm serously considering asking for an XRAy or something to make sure my pouch is ok. :help:

How many calories are we supposed to be consuming a day? Can anyone tell me? I'm usually staying at 1,000 cals/day, but I want to know what you guys out there are doing/recommend for constant weight loss. You guys might think is funny, but I'm on my 3rd week, and am already worrying about being stuck. Haven't lost any since last week. Any input???

Hi!! I need your help. I'm afraid I'm not getting enough protein in my diet and would like to know if the clear powder that I've heard about (that you can mix with your food, like jello, etc) doesn't have a taste? I do not want to buy it if it tastes yucky! I'm not a very good protein drink drinker. Please give me suggestions on how to increase my protein intake. I'm 2wks post op and I'm increasing my activity/excersice and need that protein back up. Let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOON!!!!!!!!!! :teeth: :teeth: :sleep THANK YOU!!!!

Your most embarrassing fat moment (sad, funny, pathetic, turning points)
SyLviE replied to chameleon's topic in The Lounge
Once I must have been like 12, I was really motivated with a diet, and decided to sit out in the porch to eat an apple (one of my snacks for the day).. this neighbor comes along driving with all his family, stops the car right in front of me, opens the window and says: " That's the reason why you are so FAT, you are ALWAYS eating". They all started laughing.. he drove away.. I stopped eating, and went in my room and cried for hours. This happened to me several times with different people, no matter what I ate.. So my question is... how do they know this is not the first thing you've had to eat all day? How are they so sure that you have been stuffing your face all day? :angry -

Have you ever experienced.....
SyLviE replied to SyLviE's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hey, thanks for all the input guys. My gas problem has slowly resolved, and the cold my doctor said it was because I wasn't getting enough calories in my liquid diet. Now I'm on Mushies so I feel lots better. I'm just now trying to get used to the 3tbsp each meal. Boy!! that seems like such a tiny portion!!!! I'm not hungry, tho'.. just trying to adjust my eyes to this kind of portions. Well, thanks again for all your input!!!! -
