  6. Ok, not fat anymore, but I am up 10lbs since june, just need to get back on track wanted to be at goal at 2yrs, still can make it but gotta work hard, going school full time and working full time for last year and half, not time for exercise last 4-5 months

  8. Ok, I am curious is it just good genes or have you had some surgeries? I am 46 yrs old and after loosing 60-70 lbs so far I am sagging everywhere!!!! does it tighten up or is surgery the only soloution?

PJ, Adam Smith is also my surgeon, had band 3-17-09, I was down 68lbs, but have gained 10 lbs in last couple of months, it is very encouraging to see you still loosing after almost 2 yrs, so there is still hope, could you tell me what size band and where your cc's are at now, I have a 10cc band and I believe I am at 8.5cc, donot know if I should go any tighter? You look wonderful any tips would help!!!!!!

I find food that is high in protien and thats what I eat, like Greek Yougurt instead of regular, lean thin sliced deli meat like peppered turkey and turkey pastrami, all meat and dairy products are highest in protien, I also do protien supplements if I do not get at least 65 grams a day, try to get 25 per meal! o got friend request from u, but not sure how to accept it, what I have done so far has not worked, but will keep trying!!!!!!!!!

This site is the most inspiring thing I ahve found, my advice is to walk the minute you get out of surgery and do what the dr.'s say, for me 75 gram a day high protien diet, and moderate walk 30-45 minutes a day 4-5 days a week, let us know when u get ur date, spend a lot of time w/God, that will get u thru anything and everything, I have not had one complication in 14 months

  14. I will be posting more this summer on a blog and on here, this is the greatest encouragement I have found! After surgery walk, walk, walk, do as your Dr.'s instruct and you will do fine, totally serious it seems like one day I was huge and then I wasn't, i did not loose any weight for 4 months and still went down 3 pants sizes, the only exercise I do is walk 30-45 min. a day 4-5 times a week, high protien diet at least 75 grams prot. a day.

I had my first fill 30 days after surgery and I have 10cc band, first fill was 5cc, second 1cc, 3rd 1cc, 4th 1cc & 5th 1.25, so I am at 9.25cc, i followed at least 75g gram protien a day, high protien low carb low fat diet, I now follow a very balanced diet of 60% of total calories a day are carbs (mostly fruit and fiber one cereal) still about 70grams of protien per day, and about a gallon of water every day, the only exercise is 30-45 minutes a day of moderate walking, need cardio but right now don't have time, lots of time spent with God, not one complication with band at all!!!!!!!!
