To make it short and sweet. Being born again means you are under the grace of God and have accepted his forgiveness that is offered to everyone. Yes we mess up, some of us a lot, but don't ever think that takes us away from God's grace and forgiveness. He love's and forgives everyone no matter what they do. Even those of us who are born again.

I wish I had never told anyone. It was humiliating for me. I always have ppl looking at me like why hasn't she lost weight, or asking about it. I have been banded for a year and a half and now and havn't even hit my half way there mark yet. I only told my inside people, but my mom watches everything I put in my mouth and ?'s everything. My best friend lost 100lbs. on her own so didn't think I needed to do this. She has always supported me but I see it in her eyes and it's hard to talk to her about my weightloss because I know she thinks I tried to ake the easy way out. (she told me she thought that surgery was the easy way out b4 I had even considered it.) My sister in law wasn't suppose to tell anyone but when I got back from surgery her whole family knew and were asking me how my weightloss was going everytime I saw them. People have big mouths and don't know how not to judge, so if you don't want to tell anyone don't. You can always tell them later or not. This has to do with you and no one else. So make it about you and your goals. Don't put that extra pressure on yourself if it's not what you want. (ok, now I'm stepping off my soap box) -
I was banded Feb. 2009 and have only lost 40 lbs. I have been stuck at this weight for a little over a year now. I really need to find a new support group since I have moved to Loveland CO. Does anyone know of one close by? Does anyone live close by that would like a support buddy? No one I know has ever gone through this so a support system is what I'm looking for.:sad:

So glad to hear from you!! Yes, I agree with you on getting enough rest! I'm really surprised at how long it is taking me to feel back to my old self!! This is my 1st surgery and I wasn't counting on being so weak for so many days but I'm now 8 days out and feeling so much better! I had the staples took out yesterday so I'm doing a lot better now!! Thanks so much for your sweet message, it really helps to know there are people out there that cares!

You just need to rest up and heal right now. I'm 6 weeks out and have only lost 10 lbs. this is the healing process time. Some people don't even lose weight in this time. Praying for you. ttyl.

Good morning! I took my meds. too early and now I can't sleep! It is now 3:40 in the morning!! But that's o.k. now I have time to catch up on my "Thank Yous" Thank you so much for your prayers, that really helps knowing that there are people out there praying for you! I'm still a little sore but that is getting better, so far no sickness or problems with the gas built up. So when can I expect to start losing? I see that you have already had your surgery. Is there any thing I need to be doing right now? Well I;m getting a little sleepy now so I'm going back to bed,talk to ya later!

Hey there!! I do remember you and so glad you took the time to send me a message! I hope you are doing fine, let me know whats going on with you so I will know what to expect! I'm having mine done Monday so the nerves are starting to kick in! But I know I'm going to be o.k. cause I know I have a Father looking over me!! I don't know if you remember me. I haven't been on in about a month. I had my surgery on feb. 26th. That scripture meant a lot to me. So thank you for your support. When is your surgery and how r u doing? Let me know.

Good morning ,Letterfly, I just found this group and so happy! I am also new to this and am looking for some fellowship as I go thru this.
