Happy 32nd Birthday hopeew!

Hello Hope, You look great? How much have you lost total? I did'nt see any before photos? I am new to this right now. I just went to the seminar with a husband and wife team Dr. Ron Hekier,MD & Dr. Rachael Leilin MD. I am from Texarkana, Texas 6 hours from H-Hown. I want to do this =, but some things are still confusing to me. Was this a easy journey? I was told that you really have to chew your food and u cant drink while eating at the same time and NO SODA's ever again. Did you take soda out of your diet. Did you join a gym and or have a personal trainer? I basically want to know is there hair loss for african american women who have the lapband? Hit me back

Hello! I just joined today. I'm in Rockwall, TX., 20 miles outside of Dallas. I go in on March 23 this year for my lab band surgery. I'm excited, and can't wait. I feel like I have another chance at life. It's time to take care of me. I've taken care of my family and I forgot about me in the process. Well, I shall live now.... Nice to meet you. Hi! my name is trina and i am from lufkin, not too far! Congrats! I had my band in june of last year but apparently it had a leak the whole time and was not workin so in dec i had the port replaced and it has been wonderful! Oh, yeah, i had to change docs too! lol!!! Well, lookin forward to chatin wit cha, im an rn charge on a stepdown unit and of course i work nites that's why im chattin now. hope to hear from u soon and good luck and God bless!!

hey there i am a almost 2 weeks post op and I am doing ok...i am just confused at times about what to eat or even if i am hungry its hard to say...so how are you doing? are you now almost 6 weeks post op? have you lost a ton or just steady?

You are going to do great. I am 4 weeks post op and still on liquids. Once you get your mind refocused you'll be okay!!!! I'll be waiting for an update after surgery and if you need anything you can reach me at mecca3@hotmail.com if you don't get me here.....Be Blessed will be praying for you !!!!

thanks the nurse practioner finally called me back today...she said soup broth and jello and sugar free popsicles...so i am trying since surgery is friday:eek:

What are you doing for pre op? It was a struggle but more of a mind struggle for me because it was then when I realized that my stomach wasn't hungry, it was just my mind wanting different things. Your going to do fine look at all the others that have crossed over to the other side of band life. See you there sista.....Be Blessed and Be a Blessing!!!!
