I had low o2 levels in the hospital ans staed an extra night and left late the next nite..didn't have to bring it home, but my o2 levels were so borderline I wonder where they are at now ...good luck I'm sure it will work itself out. Keep deep breathing and couphing an moving.. -
wow really??? how soon after surg. did you start chewing? Gosh i was starting to wonder if I made the right decision...no gum, no diet pepsi, no motrin, phew......

she said the longer it is in, your own tissue starts to attache to the tubing...ugh...! -

wow..its all over the place...I had mine out yesterday, they told me to take a deep breath and blow it out and omg....I thought she was pulling my esophogus and intestines out with it...i have never experienced such pain and it scared me.. -

LOL....hahaha you are hysterical!!...thanks for the laugh,...I did go ahead a chew cuz I buy the tubs from sams to...I chewed before you wrote, and you are right, I started to feel like my pouch was full, and realized i must be swallowing saliva!..but omg it was worth you response...I love gum too and it tasted oh sooooo gooood....but guess my guilty pleasure is over...groan...lol

I got an air mattress in the hosp the day before i left..the hosp bed was horrible!

I felt like that the first couple days...just take it slow, keep drinking and everyday you will feel better and better!

Yes, I have a drain, I go back on the 9th, so he will take it out then..so a total of 9 days ...i had the band, then the sleeve and now GB this was easier than the band, no port!

I do only iced cold and im only 4 days out..so my doc said as tolerated but did say if i could tolerate cold it would help bring the internal swelling down.... -
