I get tired after about a block or 2 and im 12 days out, so thats about right... -
am I the only one who worries I may not lose wt after GBS?? I think about it all the time, what if I have this surg thurs and dont lose any significant amt of wt??? scaaaaary!

Hi burlesque..doing well, eveyday gets a little better...some depression, which I guess is normal, down 11 lbs this morning, so that makes me happy...how about you?

they normally have you sign a pre op permission form and tell you if something goes wrong they will convert to open...but it sounds like your doc just does open, so why did he sell you lapro...? sounds like a con man.... -
I am embarresed to say I have been hungry since i woke up from surgery...I am 3 days post op and I keep reading about nausea and vomiting and cant get enough fluids, I am drinking good and no N/V,,,Is this normal? Also what was everybody else eating drinking 1st or 2nd week out?

I remembered you said that in another post I read and I was terrified to eat it, but i got the 21/2 min one in the box and it went fine...but boy was I waiting for the fireworks LOL... I was also hungry after surgery and still am grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. -

I boiled 5 eggs and peeled them then added 5 tablespoons of light mayo...i made it plain because it is still early, so thats it...if you have a magic bullet you can blend it, or just mash it real good with a fork!

I am 11 days post op and have lost 10 lbs,,ate my first egg salad today and that made me very happy!

Cynthia, what you said is all liquids, remember, thats why you dont drink with your meals, cuz liquids just run right thru you...you are doing fine...you lost more that me and your surgery was after me...how much did you lose all together now? you look fabulous!!

I know what I should be eating, but dont know how much...I am 12 days post op, how much were you eating at two weeks out...ty, i dont know if im over eating or under eating....

Im doing shakes and just had 3 oz egg salad, 5 oz yougurt this morning, I am eating 5 oz at a time, is that ok..and drinking with out feeling restriction..i see alot of people say they take a few sips and get sick or stuck, that never happens to me...

I went to walmart just to pick up a couple things and when I got home I was exhausted....I feel like I eat too much too, I just posted a thread for someone to tell me how much their eating LOL....How you doing cynthia, are you feeling any better, what are you eating,,,I am having egg salad i put in the magic bullet for the first time...I lost 10 lbs only

my surgery was the day after yours, i just walk right now, thats all I have the energy to do..LOL...I feel hunger off and on thru the day, I just tried my first egg salad...omg, never thought it would taste so good...welcome to the site, you will love it here...
